I like that the number of duplicates seems completely random. Will there be 4 pictures? 8? 2? Who knows! It’s Kinja baby.

A pipeline the size of Keystone XL (30 inches) can only flow around 11k gpm. They’re currently releasing 50 cubic feet per second, which is around 22k gpm, and that’s still not really enough. You’ll need a LOT of big pipelines.

Long term suffering I think has to be the 10 km swim. It takes 2 hours (about the time of the Olympic triathlon or marathon), but, ya know, you’re swimming the whole time. I’ll take riding a bike or running over swimming fast any day.

Water polo and synchronized swimming both blow my mind, their ability to get out of the water from a treading position is insane.

What a moron, how did they even end up sitting RIGHT there a second before the start? That was really dumb.

It’s literally science though, their brains aren't fully developed to understand consequences.

Without seeing the photo it’s hard to say if it’s a terrorist prank. Plus teen includes 13 year olds. I know I for sure did really, really stupid stuff even after that age.

Yep, usually if there are multiple bridges and no way to get to them without going under the first, you just sign the first one with whatever the lowest clearance of the set is.

I thought it looked exceptionally hazy out today.

I mean, broken windows was an unmitigated, racist failure. You’re really gonna use NYC as an example?

If you have it, you’re trained in its use, and you’re going to have to go under a car to attach chains? Probably not.

Good Samaritan laws protect you in the case of making good faith efforts to help.

You couldn't possibly fuck up half the planet, even with the absolute worst case scenario at the oldest, largest plant you could construct. Modern plants are incredibly safe. Worst case scenario for a modern Western plant is essentially even less bad than Three Mile Island. Which was basically nothing. Essentially

Mazda CX-7 you have to remove the wheel, remove the wheel well cladding (about 700 plastic fasteners, you’ll manage to put 5 of them back without breaking them) and then you can actually access the bulb properly. The other way is to contort your hand into ungodly positions, cut it 400 times on sharp things, and manage

Yeah, I thought the same thing. They’re not going to throw that almost brand new battery in the trash. They’re going to open it up, fix that nipple, and sell it for $14k as remanufactured (or, knowing Tesla, just put it in a new car). I could see charging him $3k or something, but the full $16k is absurd.

3db is definitely half “power”, but power isn’t linear when it comes to human ears and volume perception is the different.

I’m dying. Some of the cats it’s generating are absolutely hilarious.

Why don't they just plug the controllers in? The input lag goes up slightly but the input consistency is much, much better. Rocket League everyone uses wired because the consistency is key even if you give up a couple ms input lag. I guess for shooters consistency is less important than speed?

Yeah, but you have warmers built in, you don’t have to take it out at least.

My first thought too, lol. That skimmer probably isn’t up to the task of removing a car. Not to mention you probably want to drain and replace the water, maybe an acid wash, clean the equipment, I don’t think the pumps and filters were meant to handle gasoline and oil and stuff.
