I actually liked this more than Skyfall. Skyfall seemed more over the top whereas this was more grounded I thought. But I do have to agree Bardem was a more engaging villain than Waltz was.

As grown adults (as I assume most of us are), who has the time to leisurely figure out in-game puzzles or secrets these days? I almost feel compelled to look at walkthroughs before I start a game because I don't have time to get stuck.

I think a relocation in this case works very well with the storyline as Silicon Valley is and was the center of the tech world. A move there seems reasonable to me rather than a desperate ratings grab.
