@DaveKap: well sometimes its kinda clever. look at destroy all humans. you can die, and you will die but instead of a continue screen you get a new clone with a higher number. that counts your continues in a way and gives you a challenge to replay the game and loose fewer lives.

@SlowDaddie: the reason the big black guy who can soak up damage like a sponge is seen so much in video games is probably because most of the dev are white. being so they don't really know that much about black culture other than what mainstream media shows them usaully.

So no love for the Demoman in TF2? he doesn't adhere to any of the traditional "black" stereotypes we Americans tend to have.
