I do not like that he is being called a hero. There’s conflicting reports of either shielding family, or he died instantly before anyone knew what to do.

The network coverage of the convention tonight is pretty disgusting. Goddamn ABC (so not even Fox or something) is fawning all over him, asking their reporter who talked to him about him in hushed, reverential tones, as though he’s not still an evil disgusting menace to the world.

Maybe we should just: “Get over it.” AKA the thing Republicans say whenever a mas shooting happens, while wearing pins that look like AR-15's and posing with them for Christmas cards. I know it is technically an “assassination attempt,” but it feels a consequence of the laws.
