I'd be pretty crazy too if I had to be married to the god complex author of Blood Meridian. I wanted to kill myself after reading that stupid, grandiose, POS book. Imagine being married to the guy that wrote it. No thanks.

When I was 15, this sort of thing happened to me as well, except I was drugged, and I had to give a statement to the FBI and all they did was tell me that I shouldn't have been so stupid and they'd get back to me. They never did and the guy who did it was never caught, even though they later found out that he had done…
So pro birthers are okay with "torture" when it's happening "terrorists" who probably only committed the crime of not being born with white skin, but NOW they draw the line at babies? If you're so pro life, you wouldn't be stopping at babies, you'd be applying that "Christian" attitude toward all of "God's creation".
Wh…
Also, I'm a web developer and programmer.
I went to school, did really well in math and sciences, but ended up going to art school and graduated in graphic design.
I was so pissed off by the "Mad Men" mentality of designers in advertising that I taught myself coding and burst into an even more male-dominated market—…
Women should just stop existing so men won't be so tempted to rape us.
The movie, definitely! Probably my favorite movie, along with Interstellar, of 2014.
Image the time and effort they pumped into controlling our uteruses and what that could have been used for.... oh sayyy.... on pretty much ANYTHING ELSE and it would have been more productive. This is just sexist as all hell.
Again, sad human being. Your attempt to insult me makes me pity you.
Smells like serial killer. He just wants to wear your skin! RUN AWAY!!!!!
I just puked all over my keyboard.
Wouldn't be so expensive right now if they had been testing them as they came in all along.
That's like being a contractor and no paying taxes on your income all year, nor saving a percentage of your income for when April comes. Then April finally rolls around and you're shocked that your taxes are so expensive and…
LOL, you're such a sad human being.
Lol probably, but it's disconcerting that you think jokes about women aren't comparable to other types of prejudice. Oh well. You're entitled to that mindset. It's just rather unfortunate.
Women have been subjected to slavery and still are for thousands of years, have been beaten and still are, murdered for their gender, and up until the last hundred years, rape wasn't even a crime and could only be taken to court if a father or husband pressed the charge of "damaged property".
When people use "bitch" as…
Designer/Developer here:
There are a lot of crappy apps out there that claim to smooth your skin, (and crappy filters in photoshop that, if not used properly, will make this happen) all in order to achieve that poreless look.
Basically, it probably wasn't photoshop, just a crappy image editor.
I agree with you there, that someone will always be offended. Metaphors, just because they might be clever, aren't always the best route if they're at someone else's expense though.
You might say, "Hey, people need to grow thicker skin if that offends them". That would also be a valid point.
However, if you look at…
Fair enough. I think it's just a sensitive time to be using words that predominantly are used to label women as sexual objects, even if it was, at one point, a silly joke on a tv show. That's how things get swept under the rug for as long as they do.
Not trying to attack you, bud. Just offering some thoughts. =]
While I don't think her makeup is all that great, I think throwing around the words like "whore" so flippantly is one of the ways society pits women against each other, rather than supporting each other. We already have enough problems with misogynists.
Don't like her, or her "beauty looks", but good for her on landing…
Thanks, definitely not. All we can do is educate and hope that after a few more generations, this ignorance passes.
I like the term "Pro-Birther". In my view, a fetus is not a life until it can survive on its own outside of the womb, so "Pro Lifers" just doesn't make any sense.
But yeah, that's pretty much the way it is. Society sucks.
