sidebar: the smallest US agency in existence is the Open World Forum (<10 people in that office, I believe, with an operating budget of about $7 million). Their mission is to connect with politicians and officials and journalists of former Soviet countries (including Russia!) and bring them to the US and show them how

COCKSNEEZE. THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT OF THIS WORD.

That kid, twenty years from now?

very much a dick move

it’s like we’re the same person. i picked up some excellent Canvas items in a Sears a while back. Pretty much everything was on sale. Got an OCBD and a baseball-style jacket for nothing. Now it’s flicking through J Crew’s endless sales.

Yeah I keep popping back over now and again to see. They’ve narrowed the overall selection waaay down, like they’re going for that sort of micro/high-end collection kind of thing. Just weird.

I’m a dude and what I saw was LE trying to go a little #menswear with Canvas, but then getting second thoughts and rolling it back (which meant amazing discounts; I got that chambray suit for my wedding and it cost me, in total, about $200, and they’re now selling it for around $500 or so) and now Canvas is now

hey Stein and Johnson supporters, your shining moral high ground will be simultaneously flooded and nuked along with rest of us valley dwellers

I like this story very much

it is scary that I have thought/said/written what you wrote, verbatim, many times over. My life is, overall, fucking great. But a part of me peaked in college.

it’s quite possible that within the world of college newspaper nerds, the music critics are the most deluded, even more so than the editorial board virgins

this isn’t about my company but it’s definitely my industry (though more finance related)

Few classes of people in this world are as batshittedly convinced of their own influence and importance than college newspapers nerds and jesus fuck I miss that world so goddamn much I’m 32 and my DEEP AND IMPORTANT COLLEGE NEWSPAPER EXPERIENCE made me a legal editor in a hidden kingdom of batshit crazy conservative

OK, so you left the Democratic Party because a non-voting member of someone’s entourage was a smug dick to you and you saw that as emblematic of the entire party.
