It has been seeming kind of gross to me how many people just viewed this show as “connective tissue between phase 3 and Doctor Strange 2" or about how people were more interested in other characters who might show up than they were in Wanda or Vision, the two actual title characters.
It almost felt like because the

It’s always a good idea to minimize contact with The Discourse.

Hayward wasn’t fleeing, he was backing up to try to run down the kids. And he was head of SWORD, so while he clearly exceeded his authority, it’s unclear how much of what he was doing before the Hex was unauthorized. Certainly SWORD’s operatives would normally follow their director’s instructions, and he’d have his

Wanda is supposed to be this horrible evil that’s destined to destroy the Earth, but we saw no hints of that in the show.

Why was Monica able to see that Agatha was using the necklace to control Fietro? I get that she can now see different spectrums of energy, but what does that have to do with magic?

Considering that Kate Bishop is getting her own show on Disney+ and America Chavez is in Doctor Strange 2, I’m pretty sure we’re seeing Billy and Tommy again...

Hey, can we talk about all the Parks and Rec actors showing up in the MCU? Star-Lord? Ant-Man? Now Agatha Harkness?

I also like that the repurpose a lot of items teaching people that you don't have to gut and start over to have a beautiful, authentic home

He’s a big sweaty beast and he doesn’t play the goofball like Chip does.  I too feel like Erin designs the homes for the owners, and I like the little watercolors she does too.  They just feel more genuine.

This is exactly how I view them to be.  Their banter, while a bit forced for the camera and to create content, seems not so far off what I’d expect.  They just seem like nice people, but bland as all hell and their taste and skill at remodeling homes deserves the enormous target for criticism that they get.

I never could get into Fixer Upper, but Home Town has been way better. The houses themselves come out looking way more varied and they do a far better job giving their clients what they want, while still giving unique touches as well. Probably a good amount of it is staged, but I feel that they are a far better couple

All I saw was “Magnolia’s replacing DIY”, and I don’t care about anything else other than: is Nicole Curtis’ show still on and picked up??????

destroyed the local Waco economy and home market for residents.

I doubt Ina Garten wants a tv network. She’s already very busy and has to be ready when Jeffrey gets home. (Not a criticism. I love their relationship.)

I feel like she designs homes for the customer where Joanna designs homes for herself. You can get dirty in Ben and Erin’s homes; where Joanna’s over use of white and porous materials means you can’t actually LIVE in the home. Its a house, not a home.

Naw, I think he really is as much of a himbo as he appears to be. He’s basically a golden retriever as a human - completely guileless and happy, but never thinking critically about anything.

So do all sane people, hopefully. They’re probably just as fake but they hide it a lot better (and the houses haven’t started pushing 700k+ yet, generally, which is when reno shows get fucking boring).

How to remodel your house according to Magnolia:

They are prosperity Christians. They believe that they are entitled to rule the world.

Look, I’m gonna say it -- I like Ben and Erin more.
