My parents knew of tales in NYC of Cosby actively picking women up, which disgusted and amused my dad (“Some lady’s doctor HE is!”) But the assumption was never rape- especially drugged rape! And who was gonna pay to convict him? NBC, the home of raping newscasters?

Camille Cosby may be a person of her generation, whereas you marry a successful man and keep your eyes closed to the shenanigans your husband got up to with other women. She may think that these were unimportant affairs and that these women destroyed HER husband.
