I still don’t see why people abandon otherwise decent cars due to a somewhat large repair bill. They likely go out and spend more than that on another used car they have no history on with just as much chance at breaking as the car they’re giving up.

Bye!

I’m a fan of black leather interiors as well. Both my FoST and F350 have them.

Yeah, my POS Taurus wagon commuter occasionally manages 20 mpg a tank, but usually it’s 17-18.

I have both a FoST and F350 at my disposal yet almost talked myself into taking my POS ‘94 Taurus wagon commuter on my Thanksgiving road trip just because I know how much my family hates that car and thinks I am insane for buying it.

If it wasn’t for the chance of snow, I would have done it. Instead I drove the truck

There is something to be said about cheap, basic transportation. I bought a ‘94 Taurus wagon this summer and drive it nearly every day. My FoST and F350 stay parked at home unless I take a road trip somewhere.

It’s nice being able to park wherever I want and not care if someone slams a door into the side of it or

That ‘67 looks clean! Price seems reasonable, too. Being so close by, I better close that page before I start considering driving up to look at it.

I’ve never heard of tint shops refusing to tint a sunroof. The place that tinted my FoST had no problems doing it. Now I’m really glad I had it done if there truly is an issue with sunroofs spontaneously exploding.

Jealous much?

2.0 turbo motors are peak and soulless? My FoST would like to have a word with you...

Apparently so.

We already did; Trump has chosen not to take a salary while in office, but I’m sure you already knew that.

These trucks with their aftertreatment systems burn much cleaner than your average gasser econobox.

Bullshit! If you’re on the clock, your employer is paying you to do your damn job, not throw a temper tantrum.

Exactly. I don’t get why people haven’t figured that out. Even if you work for government, you’re not allowed to push a political agenda while on the clock. If you do, they have the right to show you the door.

This is not what I needed to see this morning, especially living in Portland. I still have the ‘84 733i that was featured 1.5 years ago on NPCP sitting in my garage waiting for me to find the time and motivation to get it back on the road.

I agree; I’ve never understood all the hate for Uber. I’ve only used them a handful of times, but each time was a good experience. It sure beats walking, taking the bus, or waiting hours on end for a cab that may or may not show up.

Well the upside to the driver having an ignition interlock device is at least you know they were stone-cold sober.

I see your 50 miles of biking distance and double it to 100.

I bought my ‘16 Super Duty and gladly opted for the diesel motor and the extra cost. Your $9K figure is assuming full MSRP, which no one in their right mind pays for full size trucks.
