Huh?!? The new Outbacks are a joke; the only motor available is a 2.5L 4-cylinder with a measly 175 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque in a porker of a car that weighs in at over 3,600 pounds. On top of that, the only transmission available is one of the hated CVTs.

I’d buy one in a second for a commuter to replace my ST. That way I’d have a diesel truck and car.

$30K on fuel and repairs in 10 years?!? You might need to recheck your math.

That’s the part that blows my mind. Why did he still proceed with his shenanigans when the cop was in plain view?!?

Being an ex-Omni owner myself, I’d say all those failures you experienced are just part of the Omni ownership experience. I replaced countless starters, alternators, and fuel pumps on mine during the 10 years I owned it.

THIS is what drives me insane! How do people not see that bright blue indicator lit up on their dashboards as they’re driving through town, blinding everyone coming the other way? It seems like it’s Camry drivers that are the worst at this; I’d say at least a third of the ones I see are running their brights.

You and me both!

Until Trump gets re-elected for another term. I know, I’m looking forward to it, too!

Uh, yes it does. F350s have always had a SFA, and the F250s have had one for quite some time, too. I’m not exactly sure when the F250 went away from the TTB (my ‘96 had one), but it could have been as early as ‘99, when the “Super Duty” nameplate was born.

Agreed. My ‘96 F250 with the TTB was quite the sleeper on gravel roads. There were several times my buddy in his Raptor would radio ahead to me and ask how the hell I was driving so fast down gravel roads with big, sweeping corners.

Fortunately only for one more week...

Longer range as in 100 miles? That’s still worthless.

Not surprising. I had my box of a Dodge Omni GLH Turbo above 120 MPH more times than I should have. It was also surprisingly stable at that speed for feeling like a tin can when you open closed the doors or pressed on any of the sheet metal.

Our lot at work has pretty generous-sized spaces, yet my ST has been door dinged twice, my old F250 got backed into once, and my new Super Duty has been hit twice, one of which left a large scuff down both passenger side doors that cost me $200 to get professionally buffed out and touched up. The worst part of it is

Sounds good to me, as soon as you fully refund the $60K I spent to buy my Super Duty, the $10K in additional accessories I have installed, and replace it with something just as capable that gets the same mileage.

Agree 100%. January 20th can’t come soon enough!

Trump can’t get elected fast enough to reign in the out of control EPA that is now going on witch hunts. Only 8 more days!

An electric heating element. I have one on my ‘16 Super Duty and love it! Instant heat out of the vents, no matter how cold it is outside.

Huh? Factory equipped remote start Fords certainly don’t do this. When I remote start my ‘16 Super Duty, it turns on the climate control and seat heaters/coolers, and will continue to run until you shut if off with the fob or its 10 minute timer expires. You can’t adjust the radio or HVAC when it’s in this state,

Yep!
