Wheels/tires (or just tires.) Most OEM tires are selected for price, fuel economy, noise etc. Swapping these out for some more aggressive rubber is definitely mod #1 for me.

Redditors full of crap? That NEVER happens! /sarcasm

Drum brakes use shoes, but yes annual inspections are a good idea. I moved to FL a little less than 2 years ago having grown up in NY and lived there for ~20 years. The condition of some of the vehicles here has made be a firm believer in annual inspections.

Needs moar turbo

It's also important to look at domestic parts content as well. Final point of assembly matters less if all the parts are coming from overseas.

If this was the turbo motor with a manual it would be NP. But as is this is more like $1,200 car.

Yup. Riding on the sidewalk is illegal in most places because bikes are supposed to be on the road WITH traffic not against traffic.

They were good for awhile but what about de Tomaso? Maybe not vaporware but they definitely have fallen on hard times.

I suppose in high school physics terms, yes. Maybe a better headline would have been "Electric Delivery Trucks are feasible and practical in New York City"?

This makes a lot of sense. They always go back to the garage at the end of the day for recharging and with the traffic and short routes in the city the trucks spend far less time idling for no purpose.

That's pretty long in Manhattan.....

No wagon? Would have made more sense than 'windowless'

File police report

This should be no more than $1k.

Well they could adopt industry standard connectors like micro HDMI and micro USB but that would make too much sense.

True that. I have to stop thinking analytically.

Not only does Apple use silly proprietary connectors they have to change the connector for an unspecified reason?

Nope!

That is exactly why I said 'most states.' Based on my preliminary research when that LifeHacker article came out I concluded that neither of the two states I have ever registered cars in allow that information to be released as easily.

I got into an argument with someone on Reddit about this. Fact is that your license plate is visible to many people every day and most states do not allow information to be obtained about a plate owner publicly. It's all silly paranoia.
