Get over yourself. This wasn’t a 428CJ, a GT500 or anything special. It was a 6-cyl originally and already had 1 engine swap. They made a bazillion of these cars.

I had one of these, a 2003. It got a lot of compliments and nobody ever knew what the hell it was. They really didn't make all that many of them so in the event that something specific to that car broke it was out-of-service for weeks. Definitely made me a firm believer in cooled seats.
Most luxury car dealers will give you a loaner when you bring the car in for repairs. My BMW dealer does.

If you park your car outside, a remote starter is amazing. Set the climate control to hot but with the fan turned down (if you have manual CC) and when you come outside it will be nice and defrosted for you. Bonus points if your car has seated heats and you can leave the switch in the on position.
Any car that is "fancy" enough to have electroluminescent gauges and LED DRLs should also have auto headlights.

I am going to have to disagree a bit on this one. Having driven both the 1st gen xB and the 2nd gen I think the biggest "issue" was that they gave them the same model name and similar styling.
