Yeah the fuel economy and grip allowed you to carry more speed and show Richie who's boss.

I'm going with the 'Sidewinder' from Top Gear (it's the white car.)

The problem is that they are trying to make Mini into a bona fide marquee which is silly.

It's more EXTRRREME!

Say it with me folks. Autonomous cars....

I kinda like it, just not for $11,500

1st – Of course the new regulations favor manufacturers that produce more ‘light trucks’ they have a separate class for them! This should absolutely be changed but I am sure they auto lobbyists will never let that happen. Alternatively, if the government wants to encourage more efficient vehicles they could just raise

Every time I mention how driverless cars are the future it is met with incredulous resistance. The people that would buy and use this device in the car are the reason why cars should drive themselves.

With the amount of 'Light Trucks' sold in this country if they unified the Light Trucks and Cars to utilize the same mileage requirements that would net a gain right there...

The obvious name drops on conspicuous consumption such as the 'Range Rover Supercharged' and 'Audemars Piguet Chronopassion' indicate a high probability of new money. Perhaps Ferrari is selecting their customers instead of the other way around.

Haven't seen a movie I have liked him in but glad to realize he is a celebrity that realizes driving around in a quasi-beater is pretty stealth.

I would say the Vaneo and Viano are. (disclaimer: They don't sell them in the US)

I guess the uber-vague 'crossover' term would be more applicable. To me the Vaneo and Viano (neither of which is sold in the states) would be a van.

An R-class is a minivan?

4th - I would think Detroit would understand more than most cities that simply having a few office buildings and some parking lots doesn't make a desireable city anymore. Also, with all the vacant land they have (I guess in a different neighborhood) I would think they could find another place to put in some parking

Well the autocar article is in the UK and it is 'up to a 23 percent increase.' They could just be stuffing a small DI engine in there as the base engine in Europe for the increase.

The multiple parts Eddie and Arsenio play are a big part of the movie.

Conversely the Z06 and ZR1 are manual only even though lesser corvettes can be equipped with an automatic. Same goes for the Mustang Boss 302 and GT500.

You should check this too:

It's a niche trim. It's not about maximizing sales volume. There is no reason they couldn't offer a watered-down model with the DCT.
