What do you know from funny, you bastards

Excellent analogy. I thought the same thing myself. Those dedicated to the hobby with the passion will continue to pursue it but the masses will move on.

Yup. I think this would kind of be a good thing as you would see a resurgence in private tracks, road courses etc. It would kind of move it into a more rarefied air I suppose but separating the enthusiasts isn't a bad thing.

I would bet that the Mulsanne shares less with other VWAG products than the Phantom drophead does with BMWs.

C'mon, you should know by know they don't proof jack shit around here.

I don't think the cash for clunkers program was a bad idea although far from perfect. If anything I think the list of eligible vehicles you could purchase should have been more restrictive. While unfortunately there were a few cool vehicles that got caught in the snare most of the vehicles were inefficient and mundane.

1st - Sounds like he was for it before he was against it. Being a repub I am sure he is anti UAW anyway....

Looks like a 95-2001 Jimmy? Those are some pretty HQ pictures.

Why is it so fucking rare that people on craigslist post actual information and more than 2 or 3 pictures? I've put cars on there with at least 20 pictures, interior and exterior, engine, full specs etc.

The Malibu does appear to be a turd from everything that I have read. Haven't driven it myself so I can't pass personal judgement though. I kind of liked the previous one and probably would have cross-shopped it if they offered the car with a manual.

There are multiple tubes for the tunnel so they probably only had to close 1. Also, I am sure it was done in the middle of the night and not rush hour.

7-series 'protection' If they try pulling you over just keep going. It's armored.

If you don't care about the badge of the T5-R any Volvo with the HPT of that era is easier to find and delivers essentially the same performance.

The Mustang guys I know have told me that the 'sweet spot' is the SN95 these days.

I could see that as the technology is phased in or maybe an exception for historical/classic cars that can't drive themselves. The upside (I think) will be the rise of driving clubs, private courses etc. for the 'drivers' out there.

The ecoboost is DI and runs a compression ratio of 10:1. AFAIK the 5.7L hemi is just under this at 9.6 and the 6L Chevy V8 is 10.4.

I do that as well but we are definitely in the minority.

Why's that? They will burn less gas when the cops are stuffing donuts into their mouth with the car idling.

Of course!

Glad I wasn't the only one that noticed it.
