All the Birches Call Me Big Poplar

Nobody really knows that for sure, though; look at the chopper industry, for example. They were worth a small fortune, but eventually the bottom fell out and even really nice bikes are pretty much worthless. There’s a massive bubble in “classic” car prices, but that bubble’s eventually going to burst.

No BS comments here! That’s pretty cool that you were able to (however shortly) buy and enjoy a fantastic car. Again, I’m not hating on the wealthy, just pointing out that $60k for an Integra is a bad deal. Maybe one day I’ll run into some money, and I’ll blow $60k on a Celica GT-Four; then some drunk asshole can call

I was merely pointing out that you misspelled “heel-toe.”

I think you’re making the assumption that this would somehow score 100 points at Councours. Originality isn’t going to win you any trophies, not so long as you’re showing ‘98 Honda. It’s a pretty simple interior, design-wise; you could fabricate most of it with sheet-metal and just paint it...especially with the

They’d have to be fairly wealthy, wouldn’t they? If they spent their life-savings on it, that would only prove my point that they’re not good with money.

Seriously? Even after I called you out on the whole “quoting people with <> symbols” thing, you still can’t even muster up the motivation to learn how to use the fucking Quote function?

Western NC...foothills of the Apps, so pretty much anything like schools or jobs is terrible.

It’s irrelevant what $60K would buy you, you weren’t bidding on this car.

True, but if you’re anything like me (and I assume you’re bi-pedal, so we at least have that in common) you cruise certain parts of CL, depending on pricing, variety, etc..for example, I know Fayettevile has a ton of RWD beaters for under a grand, and while I can get a good deal on a Lexus or Infinity in Greensboro or

All modern cars use parallel hydraulic systems; whether you’re in 2WD or 4WD doesn’t matter, because the hydraulic brake system is completely isolated from any sort of drivetrain components.  There’s simply no connection between the two aside from ABS, but that makes only a nominal difference in how brakes are

See? A Pantera is somewhat rare...meanwhile, Honda pumped out millions of these things. My customers are incredibly wealthy, and for them, $60k in FU-Money means buying a ‘94 Viper and a ‘57 Nomad, not some people-mover with an R-badge slapped on it.

Or you could bother trying to read what I posted, and realize that you’d save about $40k by buying a cheaper example, doing a nut-and-bolt restoration, and have the same car with 0 miles. That’s why it’s a bad decision.

Will this thing be worth $60k in 2045? Sure! But keep in mind that this car was made to be “collectible.” That’s much different than, say, a ‘67 Shelby Cobra that they couldn’t even get off the lot, and you could buy it with pocket-change with the plan to just ditch it after it was worn-out.

You know what out-performs the Civic platform from that era?

Since we’re getting technical, MRZR.

In the foothills of NC, at the base of the Apps...so, yeah, everything’s pretty shit otherwise, but the last time I went house-shopping I was considering $30k - $40k. I found several in the metro, and at least two in the city, over-looking a park on Main Street.

$12k a pop?  That’s market-value for a good R32.

I meant ice, but the fact that you felt it necessary to be a dick about it lets me know that you are, in fact, a snowflake.

I disagree; check out listings on CL for similar vehicles between, say, NYC and Albany.  Everything’s more expensive in the city, and vehicles are no exception.
