@Mr.Affrox: How about water? I know, I'm a smartass.

@KyleW: If you have one of the Kodak ESP printers with Wifi they have a free app that works wonders. I understand that might not help you but at least know that some other manufacturers besides HP and those who make AirPrint-compatible device are working on this functionality.

@GloverAran: While I get what you're saying, why would that be the one thing that made you unimpressed with it? After you've magically told the Xbox to eject the disc, you still have to walk to the Xbox, bend over, and pick up the disc, being within pinkie's reach of the damn eject button. Seriously that's not tech

This. Plus, the filesize for the update would cause those on the lowest data plan to hit their cap and be charged $10 for going over. Plus, what about those of us who have jailbroken our devices or prefer to wait-and-see if an update does more harm than good? I'll take the tethered-to-iTunes route over OTA any day

@four12: My two favorite sub movies, quoted in one thread....well played, Sirs.

While the 360 does show the expiration date, it's not in the most obvious of places. I usually just breeze through my queue to find the movie and quickly press the OK button on my remote twice to start the streaming. I'm sure others with 200+ movie queues do the same. It'd be nice if it was more prominently

What gets me about this is the whole purpose of The Criterion Collection is to showcase the very best of film with the most pristine picture and audio, coupled with premium extras like never-before-seen deleted scenes and audio commentary tracks and specially-created artwork. Moving it to a streaming service, while

I'm right there with you.

Seriously...if 2,500 employees are all working on Symbian, why does it suck so bad? Seriously, I don't get it. You shouldn't be in this position if you have a workforce that large working on your OS. Either they are all functionally touched in the head or there's no QA at Nokia. Take your pick.

@jordanw125: I think he was referring to the notion that Apple could still find some way to completely block the ability to jailbreak. While it has been deemed legal to jailbreak, that doesn't mean Apple won't do everything in their power to stop it. The worry is well-meant, but I doubt it'll ever be stopped.

@mconheady: There are achievements....it's called having well-adjusted, educated, successful adult children. Instant 1,000,000 G.

Doesn't this just prove Google's assertions that Android isn't really meant for tablets?

@pdj79: Clipped from the Yahoo story:

@Chris Rouse: If you read further down in the story it states that this photo here is the first known photo of a human. It's about midway down.

@Almightywhacko: While I do agree that a quick trip to Google would have sorted them out, I actually like that Lifehacker chose to explain this. More often than not their explanation is the easiest, most precise Layman's answer and I use them a lot when it comes to explaining things to my parents or other less

@guardianali001: Seconded....I like the ability to hum the song. Sometimes I will think of a song that I had heard before but not know the name of. It is pretty accurate....not 100%, but not 1 out of 20 either.

@gopanthers: Just because you delete the file doesn't mean it can't be recovered. The "1s and 0s" are still there, they are just marked by the file system to be overwritten at a later date. Securely deleting or "shredding" deletes the data and then, in theory, writes over the now "technically" deleted file with

@zegota: I was going to say a younger, better complexion-having Edward James Almos but I totally see the King comparison.
