This is now the official S65 remembrance thread.

Tires, hands down. At first they were rolling on wooden (or steel belted wooden) wheels, with no traction at all.
No matter what subsequent safety feature appeared past that, nothing made the automobile safer than having rubber tires.
Just imagine trying to brake or turn on ANY car without tires...

I found one with Jason's favorite logo.

I just had a sad. "Whale" should only proceed "tail" when talking about a Porsche...

I bet in Europe they'll call it Lancia Stratos.

I remember now. Les Edgar is the new owner of TVR. He funded the Aston Martin racing program. Thats why I thought about pro-drive. So yeah safe money is on this being the new TVR.

The first appears to be just a sketch of the GT86 Nur Spec.

Looks like Rockstar did a better rear-end than Chevy was able to muster.

I have to agree here. While most times it's pretty easy to tell if something is just a mall crawler, some people just like to keep their cars clean. I know I always wash my CJ off after offroading. That's why I usually give someone the benefit of the doubt when I see a lifted truck. Unless they're rollin' coal, those

Taxes.

I'd imagine lift trucks are not the norm in Europe. Why then, do they pay more than double what we do for fuel?

It's usually pretty obvious to tell the difference between someone who lifted the truck for looks and someone who lifted it for ground clearance.

Predicted the future though:

It's all those Altimas they're selling in Oklahoma.
