Looks like both cars are Chevrolet. The Honda road course cars have the vertical fin behind the air intake that the Chevrolet package does not, is it the same for the speedway kit? Could that help some mid corner stability issues these two cars had?

Corporate grill looks better smaller.

Mazda CX9? They are no longer making a CX7 and in need of a new platform. Could they get a Durango/Cherokee platform from Fiat in a trade for the upcoming Miata?

I am guessing the price differential is there to encourage individual sales of the Ecoboost while maintaining the cheapest possible car (V6) for fleet sales.

Dont forget the knock offs from the C2

The only new car I can think of is a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 regular cab with 4cly and manual. Cheap, reliable, and fun with function. Throw any bench seat from the junkyard in the back and you have a competitor for all of cars you listed.

And all its windows are real.

Agreed, the best hot hatch you can buy right now is a Ford ST, and they make two of them.

They're new in construction, but they're decisively old school in spirit. And if you're used to the reasonably light sporty coupes of the '80s and '90s, they're old school in feel as well.

North American sales of the Miata have been in decline while we wait for the new version of the car. But in general, none have been the sales success of the 1990/1991. This time frame also coincided with the highest production volume of the car. The 25 year old formula of a light weight driver's car is becoming the

I would expect better finish on the cast components of the suspension

Yeah, looks great and gives a great feel for how long that course is. It would be cool to see this with elevation too.

And don't forget Bowler.

I love the Brute Double Cab from AEV. And dont forget F-350's that can cross a continent from EarthRoamer. And speaking of sweet custom trucks, whats wrong with an ICON?

Competition will always make the segment move faster. I just hope the BRZ/FRS is not a go by, and the Nismo version is quick to follow.
