Well, when a man does it, it's called marriage. When a woman does it, it's gold digging.

People also forget that correlation =/= causation. Just because the end of their marriage coincided with the end of her debt doesn't mean that that is why she left! (But even if it was, it's none of our f****ng business!)

Seriously. When my husband (who I worked to get through undergrad and grad school) left me right after graduating and finding a job, his narrative (that people bought) was that he was a self-made man and very brave to strike out on his own and find his own way!

He's not working "For Chrysler", he's working "For Himself" at a "Chrysler Plant" and being paid by "Chrysler".

Yay! It's a puppy picture posting party! This is our new baby Morgan - 6 mos. old, lab/something mix. We got her through a local rescue organization, Austin Pets Alive! She's been with us for two weeks as of today:

Here's our darling rescue pup, a labrabull (Lab Pitbull X - we think). She's the bestest and cutest dog ever!

Roo McClanahan (yes...that's her name) is a rescue and while she doesn't have the motivation to compete at Westminster, she's "best in show" of my heart every night.

Well, they both love animals.

Five and a half years ago I met my boyfriend on a flight to San Francisco.
