Go watch the clips of him saying this - totally bonkers. The two-state solution is a foreign policy stance the US has held for a few decades and he talked about it like he was weighing the merits between ordering chicken or steak.

As most everyone has said, you will be fine! To be honest, my main suggestion is to try and seek out spots in London and Paris that are truly local. Both cities are overwhelmed by chain restaurants (that seem like local spots), so do your research beforehand to try and find truly independent restaurants, coffee shops…
