Total sidenote: OMG did any of you see the Pope leaving St. Patrick’s? He was going through the crowd shaking hands then he got to the nuns and he just LIT UP. He was practically hugging them. It was so goshdarn adorable that I’m willing not to take the Lord’s name in vain (my mother would be so proud).

Exactly. Imagine the kind of legislation they would start throwing around that would severely limit immigrant’s rights or the treatment of illegal immigrants. Scares the crap out of me. And after reading about the treatment/torture of the transgender inmate in Texas—I shudder to think how she would have been treated…
