Oof, you might not be wrong. You’ve got to wonder if Tom Swift is only going forwards because it had already been ordered to series, and if it’s gonna be a real tough task for it to get a second season no matter how it does ratings-wise...

The only time that I ever even remember that Charmed is a thing that exists is when it appears in Morning Spoilers

I’m sorry to be pedantic, but this is a huge pet peeve of mine

Mike Myers hinted a fourth Austin Powers may-or-may-not be in development on a recent episode of SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show (via Comic Book).

Same, haven’t watched it yet, but there was a spoiler like a week or 2 ago that someone on team flash was gonna die and my top guess was Frost so...

According to a report from The Illuminerdi, Wyatt Russell is in talks to star in Monarch, the upcoming TV series spinning off from the MonsterVerse Godzilla franchise.

I actually grew up in that town, my sister’s best friend in middle school lived across the street from him. Nicest guy in the world

Year 2 is a direct sequel of 2009's Year One starring Jack Black and Michael Cera right?

If it had been referenced at all in the series before it was so subtle that I didn’t notice. I haven’t read any of the MK comics so I was only passably familiar with the character before the D+ series, and I didn’t realize he was Jewish until they mentioned the Shiva for his mom and then showed him wearing a Kippah.

My guess is Frost. They’ve never really figured out how to use her ever since she and Caitlin were split into their own bodies, and having Danielle Panabaker play 2 different characters that often interact with each other is probably a massive pain in the ass. Also, the whole point of introducing Chester was to

The main reason I doubt that is that Marc says that his partner shot him and left him for dead, which certainly tracks with the idea of Marc Spector bleeding to death in an Egyptian tomb and being saved by making a deal with Khonshu to become his avatar. If said partner was simply another personality then that would

Lucy Liu, Tom Ellis, Abraham Lim, Ally Maki, Mark Proksch and Sasheer Zamata will lend their voices to “an adult animated comedy series” based on the popular card game, Exploding Kittens. According to TV Line, the series will follow God and the Devil after they’re “sent to Earth in the bodies of chunky house cats.”

Exactly this. It was really hard to be all that disappointed by that very “meh” special when it pretty well matched my expectations. I really, really wish that RTD had taken over as showrunner starting with the New Year’s special so that we could see Jodie’s Doctor shine with (presumably / hopefully) much less-shitty

I have not followed or otherwise heard / read anything about it, but I seem to recall that a 3rd movie with the original cast was announced as being in the works at the same time as the series was announced. I really hope both that I’m not making that up and that it’s still on the way.

I mean, it does look kinda funny, but in a very-much unintentional way

On the one hand, I feel like the vast majority of the movie-going public knows the difference between the MCE and Sony’s Spider-Man-less Spiderverse. On the other hand, almost every single headline about Morbius that I’ve seen has basically been “newest Marvel movie sucks” so who knows

If you’ve got an Apple TV+ subscription I highly recommend The Afterparty - a really enjoyable and funny murder-mystery with a great cast

Go - and I cannot stress this enough - fuck yourself you piece of abso-fucking-lute shit.

I think your point about the feeling that they could have made a better final season (really, final 2 seasons) but chose not to hits the nail right on the head. The biggest problems with the final 2 seasons (IMO, but I know plenty of others feel the same) is how incredibly rushed they felt. The first 6 seasons were 10

That is putting it, uh, lightly. I audibly cringed reading that synopsis
