My only quibble about the season premier is one of continuity - what caused the Queen’s Gambit to sink in Earth-2 if Malcolm Merlyn didn’t have it sabotaged to prevent Robert Queen from stopping the undertaking? Thea’s overdose that caused Tommy to become the Dark Archer and attempt his own undertaking didn’t happen

Yeah but Brooklyn 99 is still going strong, so there’s at least something worth salvaging

Ding ding ding, you win the prize. The reality is that the timing of the Lisa Frank pop-up is actually incredibly beneficial for Mucciolo as it gives her something to point at (provided you don’t look too closely) as the “real” reason for her eviction as opposed to the frequent late and missed rent payments.

I honestly do not understand all of the hate for season 3 nor all of the love for season 5 on this board. In my opinion seasons 1, 3 and 7 were all good / roughly equal in quality, season 2 was the absolute best, and all of seasons 4-6 (including season 5!) were absolute garbage.

Had no idea that Vinny Testaverde had a son with the same name, was very confused at first as to why you listed him as “Vincent” instead of “Vinny” but not confused about his inclusion because I’m 99% certain that current-day 55-year-old Vinny Testaverde is at least as competent as any of the other QB’s already

I mean, we’re talking about a studio that was completely blindsided by the level of backlash they received when they leaked that they were thinking about remaking Princess Bride so, yeah, rational choices clearly not their strong suit...

On the one hand it was definitely better than the last time we saw live-action Venom on the big screen, but on the other hand being better than Spider-Man 3 is the very definition of setting the bar low...

The problem there is that that robs us of a completely different kind of end-of-game drama. What happens when a team marches down the field and scores a go-ahead TD / FG with like 40 seconds left? They use their “make it, take it” on that one, and we’re screwed out of watching trying to get 45 yards in like 30 seconds

I can only speak for myself, but I feel like the brunt of people brunt of people enjoying the Brown’s still sucking is directly related to how much (unearned) hype they had and how much shit they talked through the summer and preseason. I was happy for Browns fans at the end of last season to finally have some

According to their bios Welling is 6'3" while Hoechlin is 5'11 and Tulloch is 5'6" so I think he really is just that much bigger than them

The biggest difference between Kelly and other NCAA-to-NFL flame-outs is that unlike Saban, Spurrier, and even Petrino, when Kelly went back to the NCAA the stank from his NFL tenure went with him. Saban was an abject failure with the Dolphins but since returning to the NCAA has won 5 national titles with ‘Bama and

On the one hand, Trump may be entirely insulated in real life but he’s on Twitter so fucking much that I find it difficult to believe that Fuckface von Clownstick and President Pussy Ass Bitch went completely unnoticed. On the other hand, considering that he’s still violently pissed off about a guy that called him a

Those 2 TD drives featured a whole lot of Isaiah Irving and Aaron Lynch at the OLB position instead of Mack and Floyd as well as 2nd stringers Roy Robertson-Harris, Nick Williams and Abdullah Anderson on the D-line in place of Hicks (left with a knee injury, hopefully not bad), Goldman, and Nichols (inactive for the

Ball is snapped and I’m screaming at the TV about the missed false start, stopped complaining pretty quickly...

Nyssa was quasi-back, when we saw what life was like for Mia growing up we saw that it was Nyssa who trained her throughout childhood...

Actually I kind of hope that she does appeal her termination. The shit that’s already come out makes it virtually impossible that she’d win her job back, and an appeal would likely lead to an even deeper dive of an investigation which would undoubtedly bring to light even more disgusting shit from her past and make it

Spider-Man isn’t an example of a bad remake, it’s an example of Sony movie execs having their heads firmly implanted in their asses. I.E. like remaking Princess Bride would be, cutting off their arrangement with Marvel and pulling Spider-Man out of the MCU is a shortsighted and potentially disastrous move

This is the considerably-less-douchey corollary to the single-flyer early-booking strategy of booking the middle seat in an empty row in the hopes that other travelers (presumably flying together) will avoid picking the window and aisle seats so that they can get an entire row to themselves.

Absent any explanation / trailer etc. I would have totally assumed that “Warigami” had something to do with Wario and Waluigi

When the next hurricane actually destroys the Superdome, thus leaving the Saints without a place to play in New Orleans for a lot longer than it took to clean it up after being an emergency shelter, it’ll be much easier to move the team to wherever optics be damned
