People's feelings on fighting in hockey are immaterial right now as I think we can all agree that there's something incredibly satisfying about seeing Cam Janssen get punched in the face

Just another thing to blame on Nixon

The refs did everything they could to give the game to Minnesota (allowing that huge 4th down play from their own 7 on the final drive despite no one on the Vikings being set before the snap, picking up the flag on Jared Allen in OT despite his hit coming WAY late, refusing to pick up the flag on Conte minutes later

I've liked 99% of what Trestman has done, but that decision to go for the 47 yard FG on 2nd fucking down was maddening

I suppose you wouldn't be particularly familiar with him if you don't watch the team that much, but don't sleep on Blackhawks play-by-play guy Pat Foley in the "likely drunk enough to have accidentally sharted while on air" category. I've watched a lot of the 30+ years of 'Hawks games he's called, and I'm pretty sure

As a 'Hawks fan I'm certainly not complaining about that play or the outcome of the game last night, but to be perfectly fair that spin-o-rama set-up was much less about Saad's brilliance than it was about Dumba making some rookie errors. First, at the red line he assumed that Saad was going to dump it in before he

In Dumba's defense, I think he thought that Saad was going to dump it in and go for a change, which I think was Saad's original plan but when he saw Dumba take his foot off the gas he changed his mind.

and 4 of them involve handing the ball off to Peterson.

Perhaps it should more accurately read "NO non-black person (except for racists and other such idiots)..."

There were some rumors about the Bears being interested in him since they're down their 3 best DT's, 2 of them out for the year with torn ACL's (Melton and Collins) and the 3rd (Paea) having missed the last 2 games and still questionable going forward. Of course the same issue about him being a better fit as a 3-4 NT

Could it happen again today? Are there are any athletes out there willing to make a stand that public, and that controversial, knowing that all they're going to get in return is grief?

Are you serious? This is lazy as hell. Ryan Lambert (@twolinepass) figured this out last night, HOURS earlier than Sam Pale, with some research curtesy of @UWDigitalCollections.

Hell, Pale probably stole the tip from Lambert. I get that the dude is polarizing and a lot of people don't

Well chances are there's a pretty high probability that Manziel foregoes his last 2 years of eligibility and enters the 2014 draft. Barring disaster this season I don't know why Sumlin wouldn't return, but the idea that Manziel won't be returning to A&M next year is not exactly far-fetched

I like Statham (though I prefer his work in British films, particularly Guy Ritchie films, over his work as an "action hero" in the US), but I completely agree that I'm WAY more excited for Tony Jaa to join the cast! I fucking LOVE Ong Bak, the sequels were kinda meh but the first one was amazing!

Wait, who are the "NFC's equivalent of the Bills"? I'm guessing you're referring to the Vikings, what with their taking Christian Ponder out of Florida State in the 1st round a few years ago?

I lived in Colorado Springs for a couple of years. What I observed is that almost everyone in the state has 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive because you need it with the mountains and the snow, but the vast majority of drivers are such fucking dipshits that they think that their 4-wheel drive makes them invincible.

When Ray Allen signed with the Heat last summer, the sheer number of tweets from Boston fans calling him a "trader" was just absurd. I get that nobody's perfect, but how fucking hard is it to differentiate between words like "trader" and "traitor" or "lose" and "loose"?
