Gawd no...they sure look that way though...most standard cut jeans in my waist size won’t fit over my calves, letalone my thighs. I usually have to buy a 40 inch waist pair of relaxed or loose fit jeans, and then have the waist tailored in.

eww no...Maybe a quarter teaspoon diluted in a cup of water in a soda or soup can? You want to steam it...not bitterize it.
I’ve been hearing that and I’m going to give that a try. I still wash them much less often just because of the repeated stretching and shrinking seems to be a pretty big factor as well.
I think it had more to do with the fit of them, as explained above. Just a lot of stress at the seams normally, then they shrink back each wash, and just repeated stretching at the seams I’m assuming. Kinda like bending a paperclip back and forth till it breaks. Now I wash them a ton less, so much less shrinking and…
I got CamScanner Pro for free as one of the Amazon apps of the day. It has been pretty useful actually.
I wash my jeans about every 2 weeks. I was washing them per wear, and they were wearing out in less than 6 months(I’m assuming from the repeated shrinking, then stretching and subsequent tearing). Now my jeans go for about a year or more. I’m sure this isn’t the norm for many, but I have relatively large legs for a…
I listen to Pandora in Spanish. You tend to shut out the words when you don’t understand them.
Had I done better research before I bought my condo/house. What a pain.
That’s the kind of desktop I run too, Cairo-Dock inside GnomeShell with some gnome extensions tacked on.
That’s exactly it, when your actions cause introspection on their part, and it’s painful..it’s now your fault.
I’ve seen the same tension in my family, mainly the brother who thinks the world’s out to get him. Can’t keep a job, nothing is ever his fault, etc. He wonders why I don’t talk to him much, but doesn’t understand that every time we talk, he tries to get me to ‘help him out’ with plane tickets and the like, and get…
Any big diversion from the ‘norm’ tends to cause issues like that. Seems like the reactions from people are at the extreme, either amazingly positive, or amazingly negative. It just depends where they are in their life, and/or if you’re going vegan about it(making sure everyone knows about what your doing and getting…
I don’t understand why people cringe at the thought of soap in their cast iron pan. If it is seasoned correctly, the oil will have polymerized and bonded with the metal. Soap won’t hurt it.
But if they do the thin layer of oil...it’s hiding the smell by polymerizing a layer of oil over the TOP of the particles causing…
My $15 Aroma Rice cooker just died on me the other day after 6 months of faithful service. I replaced it with a 55 dollar pressure cooker though. Guess I’ll see how long that lasts.

I have a Keypass folder labeled “hackersstolemystuff” with all my linked accounts...which has been awesome being retailers caused me to get 6 new cards last year...All the shuffling prompted me to do that .
Sugar free products were originally a niche market for those people with sugar issues. They’re labeled very clearly, as they should be, just as with any allergen and things we’ve been slowly getting added to labels.
Corn is corn. Cane sugar is cane sugar. I guess the question is, at what point does a plant or animal…
Yet people go for ‘Fat Free’ all the time, and ‘sugar-free’, because that evil fat is worse than a ton of added sugar and salt, and sugar is worse than aspartame? It really is about fear mongering and marketing with the labeling As as Beth pointed out, the 700 backers of non-GMO producers are very much behind the…
That was my first thought...how many scars from small insignificant cuts wouldn’t I have it my parents had used a little water and neosporin rather than peroxide.
And this is the problem with insurance. It’s a ‘piece of mind’ thing that really isn’t, and a bunch of bean counters trying to find ways to not provide what they promise. It goes for health, home, auto, and pretty much anything else you insure. If your caveat list is longer than your coverage list...you’re probably…
Actually, they put local cache servers in at local ISPs to save bandwidth. Yes, they use AWS, but they also only lease with the CDN for a fixed amount of time now that CDN’s learned they could ‘shuffle’ their shows through the providers, charging more or less each time based on the view:subscriber ratios.
