A lot of it has to do with the color light used. If your bedside lamp is LED, depending on the temp, it could impact you negatively. I have a very warm 40 watt halogen still on mine(only halogen in my house). It’s great for reading, and I do sleep like a baby.

Oh sweet, I was looking for something like this(I got rid of windows 10 last month on my main laptop and went straight Ubuntu). Thanks for posting this!

That’s like telling an alcoholic that drinking is bad for them. We’re in a society now where inhibitions should be unrestrained, and only the consequences mitigated. Asking someone to apply some self-control is like passing a death judgement on them. This should be avoided at all costs. /sarcasm

I know a lot of people like that, it helps them get to sleep, but their overall sleep quality suffers from what I’ve seen. They’ll wake up for short periods in the middle of the night without really remembering, and usually need a lot of coffee in the morning. But to each their own.

Absolutely love twilight on my android. Doesn’t require root or anything, though it does wreak havok with marshmallows permissions(until you get used to turning it off on the fly). You have to disable it before you can approve any permissions because of it’s overlay rules.

My entire company’s W-2's got leaked via phishing scam(2500 employees). Thankfully I had filed my taxes and received my refund BEFORE the leak happened. But lots of friends are going through this battle right now. Between the OMB hack, This...that...my old health insurer getting hacked...I’m starting to get seriously

Man, you’d think in ALASKA of all places...you’d be able to fly...nope. And only 2 of these airports are ‘controlled’

Heh, that ‘service’ has stepped down it’s game by leaps and bounds. Now with ‘free’ shipping, they’ll usually sit on the order for 6-9 days before shipping...unless you pay for ‘expedited’ shipping, of course.

Most Pi’s don’t have the packet processing capability to push the data speeds we’re starting to get nowadays. No matter what, you’re bottlenecked to 100Mbps from the ethernet port.

I use PlexBMC with my Kodi installation on my fireTV. It allows me to do 3d and multiple resolution stuff that way natively, and doesn’t have the 5.1 Surround bug that the Plex app had. I only use the Plex app when connecting to friends servers.

I got prescription Gunnars from my eye doc for work. Eyes haven’t changed for 4 years! I think they are a lot of the reason :)

I always heard pussycow when I moved to Alaska, and his dealership is the ‘big’ one up here. Now his son is running it after he passed, and it’s just not quite the same.

That’s a good call. Also, as someone else pointed out on here, maybe try doing your squats barefoot/socks only. Not sure if you’re doing that already.

Make sure your core is tight, and your shoulders are back before you start the movement. That way you’re not letting your lower back round. Otherwise you start bending forward at the waist and back, and that’s when your weight shifts to your toes. If you keep feeling off balance, lower the weight. You might also work

Amazon must’ve shot themselves in the foot with their shipping deals. Prime shipping is getting worse, they’re upping the prices on all their ‘products’. My Prime shipping went from ‘two-day’, to ‘two-days from when we shipped it’, which means they’ll sit on the order for 5-6 days, not process it, and then 2-day air

It definitely seems like the transmission was over-torqued, perhaps they did a more rapid descent before the video started. The blades don’t look like they flattened out, it looks more like they bent upward to me(we all seem to see different things in these situations), indicating there was actually more force on them.

It really sounds like something in the drivetrain broke, as you can hear it spool up shortly after they started falling, and the rotor started slowing. Seems like they may have been right on the edge of the torque limit...With a longer ‘before’ part of the video, you’d be able to see if he was making a more rapid

Definitely not what I expected. Bravo Eric!

Skynet...really an army of sex robots....powered by windows 10...

The 22 video only shows the APU start, but not the motor spoolup
