You wouldn’t say that if he was Senator John Holmes.

I don’t know a single person who likes Macklemore because he’s “clean”

I’m amazed at how many dumbfucks here can’t read and seem to think you’re still out there delivering pizzas.

Man, it's hard enough to find ONE partner...

I was under the impression that the Braves moved to Cobb County specifically to keep the blacks out.

I mean, why does he HAVE to make movies to satisfy anyone other than himself? Nevermind the fact that the article is equating movies where Clooney had a role with movies he’s “making”...there’s definitely a difference.

Yeah seriously. Let’s pick apart everything he says for not using exactly the right words and phrasing that we would have preferred. Let’s write 1500 words about how Clooney’s blanket support isn’t supportive enough...for reasons.

Man speaks in support of diversity and opportunity for people of color and women.

what’s the point of speaking up at all if this is the kind of reaction it provokes? we get it, no one is as racially sensitive as you. give yourself a pat on the back.

“I hate drama - unless it’s prominently featured in the 3rd act of a quirky comedy to ramp up the story and make you feel guilt.” - Apatow

I can’t speak to what was in the DA’s head, but the source article that I read says that the DA thought that he couldn’t win a criminal case against Cosby, so he instead tried to make it easier for Andrea Costand to win her civil suit. I’m not sure why you’re saying that it can’t be legal; the government normally

I think his point is that the D.A. made a deal with Cosby’s attorneys in which Cosby would testify in the civil suit in exchange for them agreeing not to use the deposition against him in criminal court. Without that agreement, Cosby would have been able to refuse to testify in the civil suit that the victim brought

Except the city offered him the shitload! St. Louis was the only city of the three who actually put together a plan to build a new stadium and fund it, and did so at the drop of a hat.

By “balked,” you mean “didn’t offer to pay for the majority for a new stadium RIGHT NOW WAAAAHH.”

Not at all. The city was piling money in front of him like a goddamn golden calf and he would not take his eyes off LA for a half second to even look at it. This has been his plan since snaking Shad Khan out of buying the Rams years ago. He refused to meet with anyone more than the one time the NFL told him he had to

I don’t think a city has ever been fucked this bad by a sports league ever.

Finally, a former player who we will actually believe once played with a bloody sock.

Didn't see that one coming! /sarcasm

Yeah, I think that’s the one important exception. If it’s in a fictional context, having a character who is supposed to be racist (and/or clueless enough not to recognize racist behavior as racist) do things that are racist should be acceptable, in the same way that it would not be racist for an actor to deliver very

It’s almost like you didn’t read the disclaimer at the bottom of the column.
