Oh yeah, they were so crappy, I still have mine, 20 years after I bought it, and it's still my daily driver. In fact, I have two of them

Thank you! Finally someone with a bit of common sense left in this country (I'm assuming you're brazilian here). Here's what a well oiled and maintained Tipo Sedicivalvole looks like after 20 years as a daily driver. Bone stock, everything works, even the stock alarm and remotes which are usually the first things to

How did the tailgate corrode if it's made of fiber glass?

Here's my daily driver, a 20 years old Fiat Tipo Sedicivalvole. Bone stock.

Did anybody say Tipo?

Very true, not to mention it's actually a very capable car to begin with. We had it here in Brazil a while ago as the Chevrolet Omega, and it was a great performance sedan, even with only a 3.6 V6 on the engine bay.

Fuck yeah PC Master Race.

Honestly, I don't know. I don't have a big heartwarming story that suddenly made me see those hunks of metal, plastic and rubber as more than mere appliances. In fact, I simply don't remember not being fascinated by cars. I have memories, fond memories involving cars, sure. For example, of my dad and grandad sitting

Took me a while to find the figures I was looking for, but since the beginning of 2015, traffic fines have gone up a staggering 900% here in Brazil. That is, since january 1st, they now cost almost tem times more than last year. That's how bad things are here...

What state/country do you live? Here in Brazil, traffic fines of any kind are the textbook definition of insane, with some fines for speeding as high as 5 Thousand reais.

I guess that's explains it... My parents' old Corsa felt sluggish with a 115 hp engine, and that was on a relatively light car.

Fuck that... It sounds like a good idea now, but just you wait until inspection centers get a taste of the power they'll have over people. We don't regular inspections here in Brazil, but they're mandatory when you buy a car, and I don't think it's actually possible to pass one without a week of going back and forth

Man, your 11 years old self sure had weird tastes in automobiles....

So, just like your mom, then?

I'd honestly forgotten about that. The Explorer was never sold in Brazil, so it was never a problem here. Then again, problems in one single model of car or tire hardly justify the push for a "safer" technology, and that's assuming it actually is safer. Plus, by that logic, we should be moving away from Airbags by

I know I'll get flamed for this but... Holy hot damn.

I think it was Car & Driver who once used the term "life altering dump"

Wait, is that an actual car and not a CRAS?

10 bucks say it still gets lost in a backroad in Argentina. Ain't no navigation system that can beat those, ever.

Consering the way things are going in Brazil, I'm gonna need guns for when the cops ARE around...
