I feel like Plo Koon showing up instead of Luke would’ve been a much bigger surprise, for a variety of reasons!
You joke, but that’s how Black Krrsantan got the scar on his head.
Luke didn’t save them, but he did bring R2D2, who did.
I’m going to go ahead and volunteer bed bugs for this list. Fuck bed bugs.
This exactly. Montage = a passage of time between shots.
Maybe Commander Shepard will be able to find it for us in a couple centuries.
Sounds like a lot of “Fuck You”s.
Now that’s some detailed art. I forgot several times I wasn’t looking at photographs as I scrolled down.
I mostly remember Courtship in the long run for being the disappointing conclusion to Wraith Squadron’s hilarious harassment of Warlord Zsinj.
That’s a genie that can’t be put back in the bottle, but I do wish there was a more self-contained “outlaw” team. Not even a team of villains or a sorta-of-separated team like in the current X-Men series, but a group who, for whatever reason, were persona non grata on Krakoa and forced to live apart from it, but also…
It makes me wonder if this is true across all of Moira’s lives. The mutants win, the Dominions send someone back in time, and then the robots win, and that’s what Moira remembers when she resets, making it seem like the mutants always lose. It’s like a tug-of-war from either side of the timeline.
I mean, if this multiverse madness ends up leading to a Secret Wars event and we get a Battleworld, we could have a Thor Corp like in the comics...
A fine list of characters (and reminds me just how many damn Marvel things we got this years.... dayum!) Also, kudos on not making this a slide-show. I was all expecting it and everything, and then I was instead pleasantly surprised!
Nope, that’s one of the reasons I’m kinda hoping we see his mentor here, since previously he got a family instead of a backstory. If he was just a run-of-the-mill SHIELD spy, that’d be fine I figure, but the guy fights with a bow and arrow, and that’s got to be a story.
MCU has a history of taking sketchy comic stories for the name recognition, and then completely reconfiguring them into something more interesting and relevant for the MCU. Given how the Skrulls have been portrayed in the MCU so far, this has potential to veer wildly off the actual comic storyline.
The final scene has drama if you know who Clint and Jack are to each other in the comics. I’ll be very pleased if the show follows through, but I’m not really expecting it.
It’s funny, because I used to consider Dark Horse the more “adult” comic publisher, and now they get to publish kids books. I’d put my top comics of the old Dark Horse Star Wars line to be the Rogue Squadron and KOTOR comics, though I had a soft spot for the Mara Jade series and Boba Fett: Twin Engines of Destruction…
Yeah, isn’t it crazy how John Wick and that lawyer lady from Netflix Marvel are in a Matrix movie?
I’ll be honest, I was a Boba Fett fan when I was younger, but now I’ve gotten tired of his over-hyped-ness, and was hoping he’d stay in the Sarlacc in the new Disney canon. But I am also looking forward to this mostly for more Ming-Na!
