Keep in mind one guy who manages the social media, is going to be way different than the team of 100+(?) people who design, art, and program a large game.

On one hand I’m glad this is over. SCII/UQM is one of my favorite games of all times. Working on the open source UQM helped get me more into programming.  SCO was ok..

Yeah, if you assume that most people wouldn’t end up buying the bacon the discount to them is going to be cost of the bacon, instead of what the price they sell it for. Making the discount even more lackluster.

I don’t like game or movie credits. If you think about it they are silly, self-serving nonsense. Even if you were making a movie and wanted a “best boy grip” it’s not like you’re going to watch a movie’s credits and go “Oh, I need him!”.

Why does everything have to be about race. They “swiped” lots of dances from many people. Yes, many of them black, but not all of them (orange justice, the charleston,etc.). By throwing the race in there it is just creating discontent.

On one hand: “OMG the font is clearly different, not like they are using the music, etc.”

Don’t “Yuk” other people’s “Yum”.

So are you at all worried that you’re going to have 200 people show up for the 2 cake pops? Levis will be confused.

Fake roast beef? So I guess this means that Arby’s can’t exist in Japan.

I would say it shouldn’t be used for baseball players either. I think it is a strong enough word that it should be used for truly horrid acts: child labor, slavery, forced sex work, etc. Not “I only made 8 million, instead of 8.5 million”.

My primary concern was about the parent’s use of the word “exploitation”. I have not seen the contract, nor am I familiar in California contract law. So I can’t speak to the lawsuit directly.

Dude, he plays video games. “exploitation”gets kinda deluded when it is used for playing a video game. According to the article, they have not taken any of this tournament or streaming income even though they are allowed to take up to 20%.  That seems pretty nice.

Well HBO was willing to give them more money or whatever. I think the creators was just tired of it. They got a small sample of what GRRM has been going through in trying to untangle this giant knot of a narrative.

While having a forced arbitration clause sucks, it was apart of the contract you signed when you were hired. If you don’t like it, don’t sign up, or if you realize it later, quit.

The main problem with this this was ego. The sergeant dude clearly knew he was wrong, probably pretty quickly. But instead tried to make something stick to save face. Which made it a whole lot worse.

We can all agree that traffic is terrible. The solution to that should be alleviating it and improving our infrastructure, not feeding people fast food they don’t need.

I’m curious what everyone thinks:

I so loved old school Sierra games. I had so many of them. I kept the boxes for many years.

I really hate the “previously on” segments for shows. “Previously one random character from 3 seasons ago did a thing...” then they act like it’s a big deal when that character shows up out of the blue.
