One one hand, what an idiot. On the other, what is a “microtransaction”? I would put purchasable cosmetics into that that category, but maybe he doesn’t.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Trademark is not the same thing as Copyright. A brand name becoming generic and thus needing protection is an aspect of Trademark.
Ahh, so a point I didn’t mention in my first post is that often certain classes of people are protected by the law, for example punching a cop, or a paramedic, bus driver are felonies when it would be a misdemeanor for someone else. Many places also have “crimes against elderly” laws, I would guess in that case that…
Hmm, it could be a few reasons. The subway white chick looked like she was trying to use her umbrella and keys to try and hit the other girl, which would be considered weapons. Also IIRC there was some racial slurs, so maybe they went with a hate crime thing. It is ent
Assault classifications are based on weapons and injuries. Generally if you don’t use a weapon and the person doesn’t have an substantial / serious injuries (broken bones, permanent disfigurement, internal injuries, major lacerations, etc.. But will vary state by state.) it will be a misdemeanor.
This is a bigger deal than it seems. If you read up on it, it makes a big more sense.
This isn’t really a fair comparison with roll-canceling or infinites. Generally in tournaments glitches like this are not allowed and aren’t even done in casual matches.
Also, keep in mind it is still early. “Can’t play multiplayer with people from other stores” is also a likely change. One of the things Steam does for it’s cut is matchmaking backend stuff, so they likely wouldn’t be able to match people from the Epic store.
Disagree.
These games are meant to be hard. It is part of the mythos of the game, your character is actually dying over and over. These aren’t like standard adventure games like a Tomb Raider or whatever where from an outside perspective you made it through the game in one shot.
Interesting. I wonder if the assholes will just think “Look, them closing for a day for bigotry is the joke! lol”
Since you asked: In general Police/Sheriffs have authority to arrest people for violations in their jurisdiction. So in theory if this idiot had reasonable suspicion / probable cause to arrest this person (hypothetically: prior experience with this person who was a con-artist) that would be fine. It would be correct…
I wonder if Article 13 can be indemnified. Can the uploader say “Hey YouTube, I for sure own everything in this video. If you get sued, I’ll take care of it.”. Which could then just reduce this to a checkbox that you have to check prior to uploaded. So if YouTube gets sued by Disney, they can just point to the…
I would have liked a non-switching version of the switch. I don’t really need a portable system. But I would like to play BotW or other games on my tv at home.
Aww, I saw this before and it makes it a bit less impressive that it was choreographed. =(
Umm, it depends on what type of “white”. The Jewish people have been treated pretty poorly, even pretty recently. The Irish people in the early US were treated basically like dogs. Many white cultures treated other white people very poorly based on religion, social class, etc.
If $60 is enough money that makes you feel like you have to right to swear at and belittle a person, you maybe should rethink your financial decisions.
Record of Lodoss War is an awesome Dreamcast game - Kinda a Diablo clone but with a good plot and some fun mechanics
Some people are going to be raging assholes to famous people. He is supposed to be bigger, he is getting millions of dollars to play a game with a bouncing rubber ball. Also you also don’t threaten to beat up a woman, even if she acting horribly, it looks real bad. Come on now, this is 101 stuff.
