No way, Wilford Brimley is the only right choice.

Mmm, rhubarb cordial does sound good as well. Will definitely try that.
This review reminds me that I really need to catch up. I stopped watching somewhere in season 6 for no discernable reason. I like that the show still doesn't take itself too seriously, and I look forward to catching up with Shawn and Gus' crazy antics and 80s references. Hopefully I can find time during the summer to…
This weekend I took out my agression on the rhubarb plant in our backyard, and ended up with over 10 kilos of the stuff.
Anyone who isn't already doing so should really read Tom and Lorenzo's Mad Style articles. They are brilliant at pointing out how costuming choices are related to the story, and their analysis really adds to my understanding of an episode. They point out some themes in costuming that in hindsight are really obvious,…
How could you miss the perfect opportunity to once more scare us with Rob Lowe's crazy new face?
To quote Simon Pegg: "Friends is like a screensaver for the mind."
There probably will be some complaints, seeing as that "My Old Kentucky Home" Mad Men episode (with Roger in blackface) caused such an outrage.
[Tries to think up a plan that is supposedly sheer elegance in its simplicity]
Oh, yes please. I want to read what the AV Club thinks of the weirdness that is The League of Gentlemen.
You know sleeping dogs? Sometimes it's best to just let them lie (and no, I don't mean the "through their teeth" version).
That's some nightmare material, right there.
Part of me is hoping that Peter does not get elected and Alicia chooses to start a new firm with Cary, divorces Peter, and gets in a relationship with Will.
If you want to watch an homage to Rope that does have the balls to fully commit to it, watch episode 4 ("David and Maureen") of the bleakly funny yet regretfully underrated Psychoville. It's a great 30 minute episode with only 2 scenes and a barely noticable cut. Watch it if only to find out where this dance leads to.
- No mention of Filo Pilo? That nickname is awesome in its terribleness.
- "I don't even go by Ted, I go by Theodore!"
- "I talked to all the other Teds in town, and they're not doing it anymore either." Teds United
- Leslie of course celebrates Joe Biden's birthday. Good luck finding a great present for that day, Ann.

@avclub-a7f6c96dac16f8ff45d7ea3549a10010:disqus Yep, also known as the guy who got a blowjob from a hooker live on-air (and didn't get fired for it). He did get fired twice from 3FM (although from two different broadcast associations, that concept is a complicated story), but he's back there once again (for a third…
It's vital (and fun) to listen if you do speak Dutch. That different voice that comes in at 4:50 gives us the daily input for our decoders. These determine if it is time to open up our "Boxes of Faith".
I'm one over the eight yet still somehow dressed to the nines.
