I bet that next year you'll be complaining that Colbert didn't take long enough to prepare his new show, that eight months wasn't enough.

No crickets! That was funny! (And your name is cool.)

I hope AV Club doesn't loose their remaining credibility. Those things are dangerous when loosed.

Where have you been for the last decade? Split seasons, with shows returning in March, is nothing new.

Oh, feel free to have an opinion. We'll just feel free to tell you it's a stupid opinion and to mock you for spamming it on various comments.

Whatever. Get over it and move along.

Not funny. Not even slightly.

And why should we care about your homophobic bigotry?

We get it. You don't need to say the same thing EVERY time someone comments on the death of a black character.

I assumed it was because she wasn't in any scenes with…um…that guy, you know, who played Will…whatsisname….

Swift's new album is supposed to be released on vinyl this December. So…feel better? :)

Your comment makes me wonder if you actually read Adams at all. Ford Prefect IS an alien, and like all aliens in Adams' books, he is treated as an alien. It's ALWAYS a point in Hitchhiker's Guide that humans are not on par with the other aliens out there, so it's very much "here's us and here's The Aliens."

I'm pretty sure you're wrong about R.E.M. recording this song. All of the versions on YouTube that say R.E.M. are actually the Gary Jules recording. Nobody else can provide an actual recording of R.E.M. doing the song, so…I'm pretty sure it's not real.

Yeah, heaven forbid Doctor Who show inclusiveness and acceptance. What terrible lessons for the world's childen—that being different is okay, that being gay or lesbian or even Welsh is okay, that we should all accept each other. TERRIBLE lessons. What a horrible, evil show.

Well, the Doctor was saying that he was missing something obvious the whole time. Some viewers assume he meant the Cyberman teardrop-shapes everywhere, but I thought he meant that he sensed something but couldn't figure out what—but that he thought he SHOULD know. Thus, he sensed the Master but didn't realize that's

And we can't stand pompous-but-pointless trolls like you, pretending to be smarter than everyone else while your every word displays your ignorance and lack of logic.

Yes, we know you hate Clara. You didn't have to use those words to express it. Your entire interpretation of her in this episode is based on your deeply biased reaction to her, which twists everything to match your pre-held hatred of the character. Your every word drips with hatred for Clara and everyone who likes her.

But since they clearly state what the Nethersphere is (Time Lord hard drive, not TARDIS), why would this question even occur to you? Come on, the Doctor stares up at the Nethersphere and says what it is!

Yeah, he picks movies from way down the list instead of clear-cut homages like you mention. I'm pretty sure he hasn't seen very many of the films he mentions, and he likely just swiped the list from somewhere else.

Halloween doesn't take place in a suburb. It's in a small town. Sure, it was filmed in a suburb, but it is set in a small town—not a boxed-in community, not all boxed-in with fences. Big difference between small town and suburbs.
