Well, sorry I took your hyperbole seriously, but it doesn’t read as a joke when it’s followed by a litany of grievances and disappointments about the show; it legitimately seems like you were miserable watching Luke Cage and this vid brought you more joy than hours of LC did. Stupid me for misunderstanding what you

Welcome to the world of Netflix Marvel: lots of great characters & awesome fight choreography, but often gets bogged down with monologuing and can feel slow & bloated at times. This is true of all thus far, so I agree with you to a certain extent, but it’s absurd to say that this 90 second reimagining of the show

Works surprisingly well. “Featuring Turkel” is priceless, but Shades is the biggest LOL, personally.

I’m so, SO worried about life after my ancient Italian sister seamstresses retire. Honestly, losing them will be hugely traumatic and probably impact my life more than that of many family members.

Agreed. Plus: ARTAX IN THE SWAMP OF SADNESS! :’( C’mon man, do these people even feel?!

... But Stranger Things wasn’t really eerie/creepy/scary, was it? It was a good show, sure, but it was a pretty straightforward story, and you knew how everything was going to unfold right off the bat. The characters were the focus, and they lived in a trope-driven world; it didn’t feel like they were in any danger so

I’m a little concerned we’re gonna run out of big-nosed ‘Mister’ archetypes before addressing Nine, who is quite frankly most deserving of a schnoz-centric caricature. Maybe it’ll just be a giant ear in a leather jacket instead.

Um and can we talk about the sets because Hannibal’s office is as delectable as his cuisine (and his suits). I’ll admit I may be more drawn to it than others since I’m an interior designer (and have done tv & film projects) but GODDAMN is it gorgeous. Bold, classic, elegant and period-appropriate, it suits the

Basically all of the food from that show is amazing, and i don’t even like organ meats. I was actually just telling someone today about the black chicken soup, which is like a magic potion if you’re unwell. The ingredients can be hard to find if you’re not near a sizeable Chinese population or Asian market, but it’s

Hot take, bruh. People have been saying SNL’s ‘not as good as it used to be’ since, oh, the second season or so.

I was doing just fine, stoic and composed, til “THANK YOU FOR MAKING A DOLL LIKE ME!” then the floodgates opened. Thank god I already have the rosé on ice cuz I do not do well with emotions.

Arrgh, I HATE characters being dumb for the sake of the plot. Then again, I watch Gotham so maybe I have a higher threshold for stupidity than I thought lol. I’ll give it a shot, though, thanks.

Thanks. I’m glad to hear it gets better as it goes along, if I can force myself to sit through the first 2 seasons of Agents of Shield, a few slow episodes of LoT should be a cakewalk lol.

I guess this is as good a place to ask as any: I want to give Legends of Tomorrow a chance, but I haven’t watched any of CW’s DC stuff yet. 1) Does the show stand on its own well enough or do I have to catch up on Flash & Arrow too? (If that’s the case I’d have to pass, I’m only interested because I need more Arthur

Oh shit, I just realized Gotham’s Mad Hatter was on The Walking Dead as the first wolf we see, through Morgan’s flashbacks during the attack on Alexandria. That gives me hope; he was creepy as hell on that, and that was just as a regular (albeit disturbed) dude with no mind-control powers.

Yay, I’m super excited to see more of Daniel Kaluuya! He was brilliant in The Fades, but that got canceled (and remains criminally underrated) so it was a shame he didn’t get more exposure. His performance in the Black Mirror episode “15 Million Merits” is mind-blowing, probably the best thing in the series. I really

Haha yeah i realized too late that i should’ve more accurately said, I dunno, maybe “a bra of some form” since a halterneck or convertible or more heavy-duty foundation garment works too. Honestly, bras are just a necessary evil and none are ever gonna be both truly comfortable AND function 100% as desired. Good

If the halterneck fits anything like Her Universe’s previous dresses like that, it actually is surprisingly supportive and comfortable. Most women with a larger bust are gonna wear a strapless bra anyway, but if you get the right size it might not even be necessary.

There’s probably a decent-size placket to minimize gapping, and the seaming on the bust looks like it’ll actually be quite accomodating of an ample chest. For what it’s worth, I’m rather buxom and I’ve had very good luck with the fit of most Her Universe styles (the Captain America dress does MAGICAL things to the

I’ve come to realize Doctor Who is like a Diane Warren song: it’s blatently engineered to pull at the heartstrings, and my mind goes “HA! I know what you’re trying to do, but you can’t get ME with that sappy schmaltz, I see right through you! I’M TOO SMART TO FALL FOR YOUR EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION!!!” then 30 seconds
