Again, I'm not hostile to any of those things despite your repeated attempts to paint me as such. Voluntary means are not the answer because voluntary means are not sufficient. I'm not sure who told you that we don't have a free market, but they lied to you. All your attempts to sound educated by quoting people

You know what's really a cancer? Fucking cancer. You know who's trying to ensure that cancer survivors have adequate healthcare coverage in the event of a future flare-up? The liberals you're so afraid of. You know who's trying to take their health insurance away? Fucking conservatives. Pick a better metaphor next

Democracy can absolutely do terrible things. But you know why those things happened? Because the people in this country wanted them to. My point isn't that government is all-good or that politicians are 100% accountable to the people they represent at all times. Those would be ludicrous claims. My point, which I made

I've given you more than enough to respond to. And all you and Zenith have done is call me an authoritarian over and over again. Great. You guys know a multi-syllabic word. Congratulations. For your next trick, maybe try and figure out what it actually means.

The amount you pay varies depending on how much you make, obviously, but the percentage of your tax dollars that go towards things like food stamps and government housing is very low regardless of how much you make.

You have the audacity to accuse me of making a strawman argument and then proceed to pin arguments on me that I in no way made? I didn't say all laws were good and I especially didn't argue that the fact that they exist is sufficient to prove that they're necessary or moral. There was no appeal to authority, but

I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make here. I put "free stuff" in quotes in my original comment because that's how people who are against welfare programs describe it, as if the federal government is just giving away freebies to lazy people that they stole from hard-working real Americans. Obviously the

That's the thing, Zenith, frothing looney though I may be, I can read numbers pretty well. And I recognize that far more of my tax dollars go to our foreign policy misadventures than they do towards welfare programs. In fact, if you'd done any kind of reading about this topic, you'd know that military spending makes

OMG. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize you were going to die without the $25 you pay in taxes each year towards the social safety net programs. I hope you didn't feel to coerced, you poor baby.

Are you just throwing random crap at the wall to see what sticks? If you're going to be ignorant and confrontational, at least pick a topic or two. I don't want to play armchair psychiatrist, but your inability to focus on anything for more than one post does not speak highly of your mental health.

The "dependency" on the state argument is such tripe. We're all dependent on the state to some extent. In fact, in a democracy, we are the state. What's the difference between getting "free stuff" from the government or your local church? Not much as far as I can tell. Except the government has way more resources.

Are you familiar with Milo's work? His speech is called hate because it's filled with hate.

If we're to believe that episode of Doug I watched as a child and inexplicably remember, dirty paw prints on a canvas gets one recognized as a genius artist.

Did you see the video? That's what they were doing. It was a fake, plastic river they CGed into a real river. But the water had to be actually moving somewhat briskly because there's no real way to fake that.

There's no rule that says a dog can't be an animal rights activist.

I wouldn't let it get you down too much. I can't recall ever seeing someone on here complaining that a comic was doing "SJW pandering." It certainly happens elsewhere on the internet, but not here from what I've seen. At least not very often.

Umm…I think you have your groups mixed up. The venn diagram of people complaining about Nazi cap and the people who complain about "SJW pandering" have quite a bit of overlap from what I can tell. I'm also pretty sure that the people on here defending it are not part of that crowd.

Obviously you cant review something without bringing your personal feelings into it, but I feel like saying essentially "this makes me sad so it sucks" is not a good criticism.

The Fix, his creator-owned comic, is great as well.

Saying that Nazi Cap is offensive is such a bad take. Heroes turning evil is one of the oldest tropes there is.
