On Fark, someone will sometimes post a top 40 from the anniversary of the current week for a random year and it is fascinating to see the variety in music from past years. I am without a doubt prejudiced regarding music of 1983 since I was in high school at the time, so I think it is one of the better years for music.

I saw Billy Bragg open for Echo and the Bunnymen at the Agora Ballroom in Hartford, CT in August ‘84. What a great show.

At least half of that was his girlfriend, Whoopi Goldberg, telling him to do it and that it would kill. Clearly, he should have known better, but he didn’t get there on his own.

I respect the Eleanor/ Chidi relationship, but will always pine for Eleanor/ Tahani. Also I think it is unfair that now that Eleanor/ Chidi and Janet/ Jason are seemingly officially back on, that leaves Tahani out.

I think he’s her BFF soulmate, but Tahani is totally her romantic soulmate.

I legit teared up at the Sam Malone scene, that hit me in the childhood feels.

It was pointed out on Reddit etc. already, but:

This show continually knocks me off my feet. Michael Schur is a genius. And that Chidi + Eleanor kiss?! Hot Diggity Dog!

If you’re looking at your phone/laptop/tablet when you’re watching something, you’re obviously not watching something worth watching.  So why watch it at all?

Exactly why you aren’t able to focus on your video. That is what this product is solving.

Well, the thing that Jason learns is “it sucks to play against your own team.” Now, the judge never said that he had to play, it just that if he played, he would have to play against the Jags. He just didn’t realize that he could’ve have refused to play at all, therefore meaning he wouldn’t play against his own team.

I get all my news from the gas pump TV screens while I’m filling my tank.

There is nothing in this article or the linked article that says she had to fight. The linked article says “she made sure that she got paid the same as her Doctor Who predecessor Peter Capaldi” and clearly she did. Maybe she had to negotiate or maybe she just opened with “whatever you paid him, I want the same” and

I did not re-watch season one before season two came out, but I’m glad they’ll be giving Will a break. I am super stoked for the Dustin and Steve bromance though. They’re two of my favorite characters, so that is going to be great. Especially if they team up to kick Billy’s ass some more.

Unlucky with otherworldly demonspawn - Lucky in love!

He played his part perfectly. Few child actors could have pulled off that bizarre level of fear as convincingly.

It wasn’t all bad for Will in seasons one and two. Jennifer Hayes cried at his funeral, and some other girl asked him to dance at the Snow Ball.

We need a downvote button for stupid-ass comments like your’s. Noah was fucking excellent in S2, all the more surprising because he was barely present through the entirety of S1, so we had no idea if he had skills or not. And it turned out he did.

He was excellent in Season 2.

This is a bad take and I want you to know that.
