Thankfully not this time.  This time I vaguely remembered the article and thought I might have posted a comment previously, but was surprised to see it was about Gerry from Derry Girls.

On moving to the US and living in Brooklyn for a year, Alamo Drafthouse was a brilliant surprise find for me, and I loved going there.  It was a major bummer to find out afterwards about the way they treated staff.

And while he hasn’t competed in the Nathan’s contest in many years, Kobayashi continues to hold many records in the world of competitive eating, and once defeated his long-time rival in a contest to see who could speed-eat the most Pizza Hut P’Zones. That last part isn’t strictly relevant to this story, we just

The 30 for 30 ESPN film on these guys was awesome. Especially when Kobayashi challenged a bear (spoiler - the bear won).

Gateways to Geekery and Primer also need to make a comeback.

Now playing

Having given this some thought, and having seen several of my options either already selected, or already featured in previous seasons, I have concluded that we have to have:

I’m still desperate to hear the original mix of The Seer with Kate Bush. It was intended as a duet but the released version criminally relegated Kate’s vocals to the back of the mix, to the band’s horror. The campaign to remix it goes on.

I could weep for this planet sometimes.

I can’t believe Looney Bagonzi from Bugsy Malone didn’t merit a mention here.

Just finished it last night - I’m assuming the reality break you are talking about is the one with Saira? Great show, although both seasons started very funny and got progressively more serious in the later episodes.

And it’s better than ever from what I’ve seen so far.

If the first episode of season 2 is anything to go by, it’s even better than before.  Villain Era is a brilliant song (with a little flavour of Flight of the Conchords).

I think it may be time for my occasional one month subscription to Disney +.

Amina’s parents are great!

I binged it this week - the comedy tails off a bit in the middle of the first season as things start to get a bit more serious, but definitely worth watching, and I’m looking forward to doing season 2 over the weekend.

*doffs cap*

I never really watched Seinfeld back in the day but quite recently decided I needed to rectify that. My general view was meh. I know it’s not fashionable to say so, but, in that era, Friends was consistently funnier.

Fair play - the pen is mightier than the sword.

And my pikestaff!
