“Or having the money to pay for it all.”
“…all the out takes (basically another movie)…”
There was a very definite Scouse haircut back then, but it wasn’t that.
Mike Score had a hair salon in Liverpool - they used to practice over the shop I believe.
Obligatory...
So is it homoerotic football this time around?
I think obsolescence is the wrong word but I get the general thrust. It seems to be about old white dudes accepting that they have no greater insight into how things should be than anybody else, and opening up access to positions of authority to everybody.
Also - getting all the way to the final episode means you don’t miss out on the very sweet archive footage postscript.
Yeah - I’d put myself in the “I’m not sorry I spent 3 hours watching this, but have no intention of recommending it to anybody” camp.
I was irritated by Bigfoot shitting. Then mildly amused by the “Clean-up in hall 3" tannoy. Then chuckling at the two Leichtenstein Guards hearing the message and then hurrying away.

..and Katy Carrot! But regardless of that, calling for more Cecily can never be wrong.
It was just a fun physical comedy sketch - Cecily’s high kick to upset the tray second time around was a thing of beauty.
Arguably a triple as Firth counts as a Double Darcy on his own.
Very good film. I came out thinking “very good film, but they’ve had to take some liberties with the facts to make it”. But my wife has read the book, and she started telling me that a lot of the seemingly more outlandish plot driving elements were true.
I literally couldn’t watch it after trying the first episode (possibly two). As a parent it’s a very tough watch.
I like this idea, but if Kim is from Nebraska it would seem to be quite a risk to go back there with a new identity.
Seeing the two of them rehearsing The Two of Us in Get Back had me tearing up - so much so that it has jumped into my top 10 Beatles songs.
