Does Cruise have a crisis of confidence in this film that is resolved by meeting a good looking woman?

“One of the strengths of Jim Cameron’s scripts are always the universal and relatable themes that he weaves into them,”

Ravished?

“Das are just an extension of Mas.  Das are in Mas’ pockets”.  Das are Ma-enablers.”

“Don’t leave me!”

He had a great cameo in the first episode of the new Derry Girls.

I was watching that award show where Spike said that - one of the great live TV moments.

English breakfasts are huge by English meal standards, but I don’t think they’d be considered out of the ordinary by anybody who’s ever eaten in a Denny’s.

Will this make it harder for Disney to prevent idiots bringing guns onto its property?

Killing Villanelle was the obvious ending given her psychopathic murderous ways, although killing Eve would have been maybe even more obvious given the name of the show.

I like Cage in Raising Arizona, but the best performance in that film was the old guy in the gas station who delivers the line “Not unless you think round’s funny.”

Outlaws was great. Stonehenge is seriously underwhelming.

Anyway, never mind all that.  Derry Girls is back tonight!

OK, I know a lot of Stranger Things merits the occasional eye roll, but that trailer looks awesome.

To Brits of a certain age (i.e. me), even those who have never listened to the show, the Archers theme is a very effective shorthand for the (boring) rural idyll/domestic bliss characterisation of England.

There was certainly a bit of a jolt through the room at the cinema where I watched El Camino, when Walt turned up.  I think it took some people a surprisingly long time to realise it was a flash back.

My guess is that something terrible was going to happen to Kim, but Seahorn has been so good, and is so loved by viewers, hopefully a Pinkman ending has been written for her.

That scene is so good. Jesse’s face as he (after confidently stating that the cops were not coming) hears the cops turn up behind him is just perfect.
