Ah, yes, because if there’s one thing we’ve all learned over the last few weeks, it’s that the cops can be trusted to do the right thing.
This is a SAAB like a person wearing a Gucci t-shirt is high fashion. I’ve always had a soft spot for the unique SAAB designs (and yes I realize this isn’t really one) but you could tell me this truck was made by anyone and I’d believe you.
The Defender never has been and never will be a rock crawler. It’s not a Jeep, that’s not the point of it’s existence. The whole point of a Defender/Series Land Rover was to carry cargo over rough terrain to work sites. That’s why it became so popular with overlanders because that was the primary focus in it’s design.
If LR really wants to be the best ever and return to their roots, they’ll do a coil-springed, computer-minimal version for $35k.

A short time ago, I would reply to this comment with a “derp”. Now we can all just say, “OK boomer”.
Thoroughbread?
We’ve been through this, and it hasn’t changed.
I win.
There is no way a GT3 draws more attention than an i8. It might get more appreciative glances from enthusiasts, but enthusiasts are a minority. To most people a GT3 is just another Porsche. They might even consider it tacky. The i8 is visually obvious as something special.
“i8 quite dead yet!”
“But I’m feeling better!”-BMW i8
It’s beautiful. The power is good, even against modern competition.
I work in environmental science and something that everyone overlooks is that tree planting ≠ reforestation.
I hate to be that guy... but AT LEAST, its something....
And a lot of this is being undone by Brazil’s push to develop large areas of the rainforest.
They’re the people Hunter S. Thompson wrote about in Hell’s Angels.
