@Platypus Man: Isn't this how new cars are sold? You can't get a bare-bones model with just the one feature, if you want that feature you have to get it in a "package" that cost much more. My wife's car, in order to get the upgraded sound system we had to get a sunroof too! WTF?

I as a parent have found that seeing what works for others gives me ideas on what to try with my own kids. Sometimes what I try doesn't work, sometimes…
We just go into my boy's rooms at the same time every morning...unless all hell is breaking loose in there. Just like in the post, we sometimes here them talking to themselves before the "wakeup" time, but they usually amuse themselves counting their toes or whatever before Mommy and Daddy come in to "wake them up".
On a completely unrelated topic, is it just me or are the 'reply to this comment' replies no longer nested?
@Adam Pash, LH Senior Editor: > we'll always do our best
@iain010100: Um, it's called due diligence, and yes, I expect Lifehacker to do this for its recommendations. Otherwise, I (and I suspect others) will stop using their recommendations.
@Dan in Detroit: I second the recommendation for Stellarium. Excellent product.
@killermouse0: I use digestIT 2004 for my md5 work: integrates with Windows explorer very nicely.
