If there’s a man more qualified to make obscenely gay games, I don’t know about him.

The music in most of those trailers is impressively terrible. Especially since so many of those films have such iconic original scores.

It’s just not a very Zelda-ish system. When I think of a Zelda game, two things are really important to that image:

They have writers on staff and gameplay/design on staff, and if those are the same people they’re a weird company. It’s more a question of pulling people off of DLC or whatever their next project is.

I’ve not yet played Andromeda - but for a Bioware game I think it’s in their interest to make it more LGBT-friendly. They’ve carved themselves a niche there, and it’s been their main selling point for years now. Their gameplay has always been shite (except ME3 multiplayer, surprisingly), but their writing has been

Well I hate the face I made for my main, so I’d rather not. Give me something fresh!

People talk smack about her face

I wouldn’t put it that strongly - her character is more of a cypher than the others, so everything has to be much more subtle. She reminds me of a lot of scarred people I know in real life, all of whom only have that same single facial expression too. Although the bitterness that is only nascent in Woodley’s character

I think Kidman just gets to be in all the best scenes - her therapy sessions with Calamity Jane. And not just for the great soliloquies, either - their interaction with each other, both as people whose profession is/was manipulating people via conversation and careful choice of words, are absolutely masterful. Honestly, all the main cast is amazing in this show. Witherspoon/Kidman/Skarsgård/Dern have the most complex work to do, and they all do it beautifully, but I am also impressed by the child actors. None of them suck! How rare is that?

I started liking Eris Morn and Ikora more when they started being the leaden-serious counterpoint to Cayde-6's humour. Zavala was one of the only characters who had character even in Vanilla (yay Cedric Daniels!)

Yeah, that was the least-bad thus far. Not nearly good enough to make up for the ball maze, though.

The shrines are my favourite part of the game by far. Except for ones that require motion controls, because motion controls can just fuck off.

Still not the worst Daily Mail headline I can think of:

Bah, you beat me to it!

Why not just split it down the middle like the cool kids are doing these days? As far as body mods go, circumcision isn’t particularly avant-garde anymore.

I just platinumed the game a couple of days ago (almost exactly an hour after getting bored of it - which to me is a sign of close-to-correct game length), but I would have loved that “hold X multiple buy option”.

But the audience doesn’t even know they’re British until 2 years after they have already filmed the movie.

In my experience, problems like this tend to be more likely to do with the Creative team and/or publishers having a poor grasp of scope control, and not listening to individual teams saying that there is no way to be finished on time. I’ve seen it more often with Enviro Art and especially with Design than Animation,
