Ed Werder? Seriously? The guy’s been there for 17 years, and I genuinely liked him as a contributor. I’m sure they’ll get some brash, in-your-face, former athlete to replace him.

While I don’t like the CVT in my Civic, since my wife also drives it (and can’t drive/won’t learn manual), it was a sacrifice I had to make. I would prefer a conventional automatic over the CVT, but as you mentioned Honda is one of the better ones on the market.
While I would agree with your sentiment that the CVT isn’t as bad as people make it out to be, have you ever driven Nissan’s CVT? It’s an awful, awful transmission. As long as Nissan keeps using their version of the CVT, I will never own another Nissan that doesn’t have a standard transmission.
Neutral: I don’t think that Mitsubishi and Nissan need to be one company. I think there’s enough market for both of the manufacturers to exist, and I think they can be used to serve different people.
Always like the look of the Vigor, have never taken one for a drive though.
I know I’ve seen it traveling through McKees Rocks I believe. Can’t give exact places as I don’t remember off the top of my head and I live in Jersey.
I think you are correct that an owner should be responsible for making sure their vehicle is in proper working order, and a recall is fixed. I ASSUME (and you know what happens when you do that) the lawsuits were from accidents that have happened a while ago, and were just never brought forth, or they’ve been stuck…
I’m sure there’s a bridge close by somewhere. lol
Yup, I see this far too often by me. There’s a 4 lane that I’ll see an accident at probably once a month because someone is waved on, but the other side doesn’t stop. It really pisses me off when someone tries to wave you on. It’s like they think that them waving you on is going to stop the rest of the traffic.
What kills me about driving in Pittsburgh is when the main street has to stop to the side street. I get the logic that there are hills on the side streets and it might be tough when someone has momentum in snow or whatnot, but come on. Why is the street that has the actual traffic the one that has to come to a stop.…
Maybe the kid was just afraid of venous things that can kill him and was trying to drive away? Too bad he didn’t realize that place doesn’t exist in Australia.
Well, yes, that’s what I was getting at. It’s in their best interest to not have aging new inventory on their lots.
The question was how much does a used car have to be versus a new car. I’m saying your 25% is too low for a slightly used car. I would love it if there was a 25% depreciation hit, but I just don’t think a dealer will do that. They have less incentive to sell used than new.
While I’d love 25%, I think that’s an unrealistic expectation to have. Sure, a dealer will pay you 25% less than what you bought it for, but they’re just going to jack it back up to a little bit less than a new one. Add that to the fact that a dealer has a vested interest in moving new cars over everything else, and…

According to this report from US World News, children are hitting puberty at an earlier age. That is what I was referring to.
Damn you for that .gif. I can’t stop laughing at that.
