I’m actually more interested in his shoes. I imagine a fine will be coming from the NFL for not wearing an approved color.

Stafford looked like a complete ass for yelling at his receivers like that. That being said, he's absolutely right. How are you not aware that you need to get out of bounds ASAP?

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but if NH4NO3 works, why change it? I will assume they only use enough to make a controlled explosion in the vehicle to inflate the airbag. This accident was not caused by the airbag itself, but due to the truck crash. Had the truck not crashed, I imagine the airbags would have gotten

Yeah, that was the only downside I thought of as I was typing my reply. Maybe if people weren't such savages, but you're probably right.

I'm sure you could find a used Wrangler somewhere for under 8k. And it would probably be a YJ, which are the best looking IMHO.

Hardigree was on the right track, but picked the wrong Jeep. I think for outdoor exploration (and top down motoring), the answer to this should be a Wrangler.

Leasing makes a lot of sense for certain people. For those of us who are never quite happy with a car, a lease is really best thing. Say you have someone who changes cars every two years, but finances to own versus lease. By the time that person is on their third car, they’re hopelessly upside down and are financing

Honestly, the F150 Lariat probably sounds like it ticks the most boxes for him. He didn't say no truck, did he?

Down and to the right. Maybe that’s just what I’m used to, but I got into an avoidable accident years ago in an E30 because I couldn't find first gear in a panic situation. I kept putting the car into reverse. That's the reason that reverse should NEVER be near first gear.

Option one, please. I get to drive for the sake of driving so infrequently these days. And the little I do drive would just taken be off the end of my life. And, think about it. The last few years of most people's lives suck anyway. Who wants to be sitting in an assisted living place waiting to die?

Yeah, the Fit is quite large. I would have purchased one over my Civic if I could have found a comfortable driving position. Alas, that was not to be.

And you know, I’m perfectly cool with people getting whatever vehicle they like. I just think that there are probably many people out there buying/driving more than they need that would be just as happy with something smaller.

If they needed a lot of room, they got the wagon version. lol

Oh, I get it, and understand the reasoning behind it. I just don't like it. You've lost the essence of what the original car was in the process. I had a Civic because it was a light economy car that was fun to drive and got great gas mileage. Now that same car is so refined and bloated it doesn't drive anywhere close

Well, it is called Mini, so they do have a good point. But I can understand why the BMW Mini isn't as small as the original. I imagine you just couldn't fit the safety equipment in an original Mini.

Oh, I agree. But plenty of people will make the argument (and they're wrong, mind you) that one kid = minimum 2 row SUV. My dad had a G-Body Grand Prix growing up. Somehow everyone fit inside, even though there wasn't much room be today's standards.

I get wanting and liking something the size of a Sonata. Some people like to stretch out a bit, and a car larger then say a Versa fits them well. As for the Versa, I used to have a cube, which is basically the same car with a different body. It really wasn't a bad car, except for Nissan's lousy CVT.

I always assumed the reasons that each successive model of the vehicle got bigger was because automakers assumed the buying public wanted a little bit more. I want my new Civic (or whatever) to be bigger then my 8 year old Civic. I don’t want to feel like I bought “less” car.

Sony should just give up. No, not because they are casting a woman, but because they've been shown incapable of making a decent Spider Man movie. On the plus side, at least Sony does better than 20th Century Fox.

I like it in a weird way. But I’d have to ditch those tires. This obviously isn’t going to off-road, so you might as well put something on there with a lower rolling resistance.
