Jet Grind Radio was great and all but I fucking hate the camera. I hate it so much.

Yes, blergh.
The problem stems from making the country being invaded the US in the first place. Why not make it a smaller country like for instance South Korea? I'd argue that would make for a more interesting game. You'd be able to see more of the country (percentage wise) and you could fight the North back across the border…
@GamerKT: Lol!
The Other Guys was funny but it felt like the script was written by a 17-year old with some serious ADD.
@VincentVendetta: That would be too confusing. People would think it was Drake's doppleganger, lol.
@JuntMonkey: Agreed. That game had some cool sections but I finished it in around two hours and it didn't really add anything to the stories of Tools and Crack in Time.
@Stradigos: You can if you have the brand recognition and money to market the shit out of it.
@Makidian: If anything, making it more action oriented just made it more scary. Fighting The Pack was incredibly intense. Having a bunch of mutant toddlers relentlessly chase you around as you try to take them out is terrifying. And it's something they couldn't have had in the first Dead Space game because most of…
@DukeOfPwn: Starting with the second game of course. The first game had a TON of interesting backstory but the actual in-game story and plot progression was weak, full of more cliches than I could count, and poorly paced.
@bowen13: I hate all Gamestop commercials. What I really hate about this one though is that the puker is already puking by the time he starts firing so either shooting a puker somehow halts their projectile in mid air, shooting a puker does nothing to the trajectory of the puke and Isaac was out of range, or shooting…
@danielrbischoff: For me the scares came from the atmosphere. When the enemies showed up I could deal with it. The not knowing when or from where they would KILLED me. I was so tense through every minute of that game that I could only play one or two chapters at a time because I'd get so mentally exhausted.
@Nexus6: But then the masses would become aware and it has been proven that anytime the masses become aware of anything it steadily declines in quality. See: gaming.
@13CandyRainbowSuicideMachine: Amnesia: Dark Descent is supposed to be pretty Lovecraftian, right down to the creature design. There are some videos of people playing through it on Youtube. You lose a lot of the atmosphere (but apparently the game has so much that there is plenty left over) because they're talking…
@DukeOfPwn: That sounds awesome. Would you have to do some research on your targets like their schedules, security systems, etc? And if you do by chance get caught in the act would there be some Mirror's Edge parkour chases enhanced by some Batman style gadgets? And will you make this game so I can play it NOW?!!!
@Oibotic: Have you played Demon's Souls? It's pretty much all those things except for the epically long part. But it can be long if you want it to be.
@Herabek: I hate when games don't let you skip the sections that don't exist. :)
@Datacide: God, that Zelda sound...
@David Perlman: It doesn't just matter in terms of taking playing the game more seriously but also in pacing and story presentation. In a heavily story or set piece driven game, a poorly designed section where a player continuously dies kills the flow and immersion.
