This may be the worst article I have ever read. Not on Jalopnik, because Torch or Tracy wouldn’t let this word filth fill a column they wrote.

I’ll take all the V8 manual sedans I can read about for as long as they are built. Cars like this are not a need, they are a want. If we only had what we needed, life would be freaking dull.

Nothing GM does is ever going to be good enough for you.

Both of those are pretty fast cars though, by any rational measure. We’re just jaded now by ridiculous hp numbers on cars that 90% of the population couldn’t drive at all without electronic driver aids.

We are near a neighborhood that pretty much every house goes all out for lights... street after street after street and they all have themes.  We go over there a few times.  Drop the midgate on the Escalanche and cruise it with everyone in the back. Why the snark?  People have big trucks for various reasons.  My mom has a big Dodge Ram, that she uses for various reasons, none of which involve hauling bricks to a worksite.
