That’s likely possible with a hand built, boutique, supercar, and just not with a mass produced consumer product. Toyota could have not drawn it out this much, but some of that is also just auto journalists constantly speculating on rumors of an upcoming car.

I get the impression from comments here that capitalism and the law of supply and demand are Challenging concepts, and people would rather Charge ahead and Demonize the Intrepid guy who does understand them.
