The only time I’ve ever not worn a seatbelt while driving/riding (and simply sat on a clicked-in seatbelt) was when I was driving around at 15 mph on a dirt road on a ranch. Even then, if we weren’t in a situation that needed us to hop out a lot, my seatbelt was on.
