Uber doesn’t own the vehicles and I’m pretty positive they’re not denying drivers who have accessible vehicles, so your argument doesn’t make a lot of sense.

How exactly are their civil rights being defied? Uber actually has a specific service set up for people with disabilities and is working to grow it. Not liking the wait times does not equal civil rights violations.

Without a transcript of the meeting, we don’t know if it’s legally an attempt, a conspiracy, or solicitation, but meeting someone who offers to perform illegal services after expressing the intention to accept those services is already breaking the law.

probably not charged on anything on THIS specifically, but the great thing about investigations is that they often open up other avenues. So while nothing may come out of that meeting, turning over the cushions from it could lead to something else... and potentially more damaging. That’s the hope at least.

Where are the follow up emails that occurred after the meeting?
