Yah I tend to think Winter Soldier is the MCU high-point more than Civil War. It tells an equally grandiose and impactful story but with few of the issues that muddled Civil War.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a pretty flawless movie, and is arguably still the finest film the Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought.

A question I’ve always had about the plot of Civil War is if Zemo couldn’t have accomplished most of his goals by just emailing the video of Howard and Maria’s assassination to Tony.

Civil War works a lot better once you realize it’s Avengers 3 and treat it accordingly.

Even in her own account, asking other people in the lobby to empty their pockets is over the line. Not understanding that, especially after it turns out nobody stole your phone is batshit.

Well, you gotta remember Bruce took off the cowl and retired in 2019. That’s last year.  Terry didn’t take up the mantle for 20 more years.  2020 is what happens when you don’t have a Batman.

I’ve loved this show ever since it premiered. A worthy successor to Batman: The Animated Series, and a worthy member of the DCAU.

Nathaniel Malick wasn’t particularly impressive as a foil, too often substituting privilege and entitlement for competence, but stealing Inhuman powers kept the villains from becoming monotonous.
